Here at Bombay Sizzler we specialize in Desi style Chinese food, Pakistani food, hot subs, and BBQ items.

History

Established in 2010.

Since 2005, we opened our doors to the South Florida community welcoming everyone to enjoy our one of a kind cuisine. Our original store was located on Oakland park Boulevard and we were the first restaurant to offer Bombay Style Chinese food, as well as Pakistani dishes that were as if your mom cooked them in her own kitchen. We moved our location into Pembroke Pines mid 2010 and we’ve added more items to our already exclusive menu that are sure to water your mouth and keep you coming back.

Food’s average. However the chicken malai kebobs are good.
Wondering why I’m giving such a poor review?
The customer service and attitude is appalling. lack of respect is not the word. Utter disrespect would be more appropriate. There is a a young girl who is particularly very rude (understatement — she literally fights with customers) and I’m sure the owner encourages the attitude.
I think the attitudes are especially bad towards Indian customers (shame as these guys are from the sub continent too).
I would recommend not going there or risk ill-​treatment.

I went to this restaurant recently with friends. We are all from California and were in Florida for the long weekend. We wanted to try some Indian food and this place had good reviews. So we decided to give this a try. The experience was not good at all.
Food: We ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes an a chicken kabab platter. The veggie dishes (Dal, Palak Paneer and Alu Gobi) were actually not bad. The chicken was not that good. The naan and rice were good but nothing out of this world. I give the overall food a B.
Customer Service: This was really bad. The lady who I think was the hostess and also waiting on us did not smile or greet us. In fact she was borderline rude when we were ordering. I had to remind her that we had ordered Mango Lassi and she did not come to refill our water till the very end of our meal. I give Customer Service a C.
But here is the worst part. Their ceiling A/​C vent was leaking (we realized that later) and some water (or whatever that was) droplets fell on one of my friend (we were not even sure if they had fallen in the food). I called the owner and told him this. He smiled, brought a chair and stood up right next to our table and started wiping it. And while doing this some more water drops fell on our table. Also the restroom wash basin was filthy. So hygiene wise I give them an F.
Overall, this is not a place you want to visit.

This place has all you can eat buffet Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a flat rate. On the rest of the week, great place for vegetarian and lovers of spicy food! Have the Aloo Gobi, and get some extra Na’an. It’s really yummy and always fresh! :)

I came here for the buffet so I would be able to dry all the different food of india/​pakistan but all that did was made me try many bad dishes instead of just 1, had i just ordered 1 dish. The food isn’t good! This place has good reviews so I thought it would be good, but it wasn’t. Holly crap the soup is bad. I’m a soup guy too, i love soup and can pretty much eat any soup but dang it’s bad. Not really flavorful and too thick.
The chicken is pretty dry and the food isn’t of good quality. The only thing i found decent was the beef.

Rude staff. We entered the restaurant and the girl inside gave us a cold look as if we bothered her. She was also pretty rude. While we waited for her to come and take order, she shouted from other corner to make everyone in room hear what are we ordering.
Restaurant needs new management or at least good polite staff.

I was advised to try this place by my friend, as it is supposedly the only halal indian chinese restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area. It doesn’t have a visible sign from the street. Look out for Flavors of India and this is the restaurant next door.
It doesn’t really have an ambiance or good décor; it’s just a brown room with tables with a TV playing Indian songs. The servings are very generous; the mango lassi was enough for two people and the bowl of hot and sour soup was gigantic (we split it 5 ways). Without asking, the girl brought multiples of all the utensils and bowls. She also brought a big jug of water. I guess she is used to desi style of ordering («no drink no drink”/ «can we get uh four more puhlate»).
I ordered «chicken manchurian» which is typically a deep fried crusty chicken coated with a sweet sauce. I got chicken in a spicy red sauce. It was still tasty but not what I expected. I am used to the one from Chopsticks, I guess. Kebab plate was ok. My bro got a philly chicken cheese steak. That was really good.
Since I had a brand new car, I made everyone wash their hands before leaving the place. Bathroom was in bad condition with paper and water all over the place. GROSS
It’s not awful awful; it’s ok for desi people, but i would not take american friends here.

Very good ethnic cuisine, it’s a nice break from ordinary. The place is very small and not showy, but the food is great. Go on one of the buffet nights.
