Hanover Glass recently fixed a broken window for us. We removed the window sash and took it to them. Upon entering the shop, the guy was around the corner with a blond woman who remained hidden the entire time we were there. Creepy.
Nonetheless, we left the window and in about 4 days, we were called to pick up the repair. The glass work was mediocre. I don’t know yet how air tight it is, but the sash came back dirty and scuffed. There seems to be loose adhesive around the pane. We are going to have to sand and repaint the entire thing.
Additionally, at some point during the repair, the removable wooden grid was broken. The folks at Hanover Glass didn’t even bother to fix it! The guy told me about 4 times that they were all broken at his house, as if I give a hoot. He finally offered to try to find some wood glue and fix it if I want to come back the next day. POOR SERVICE. It should have already been fixed with an apology for breaking it.
