Shirley relocated the hospital to its present location immediately north of the historic falls in Pendleton. Dr. Bonnie M. Pilbeam bought the practice from Dr. Shirley in 1993. Bonnie P.

Business Owner

Dr Pilbeam received her graduate degree from Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Prior to receiving her veterinary medical degree, she received a BS in Animal Science, and an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. Frustrated with the limitations of Western veterinary medicine, she decided to study Eastern medicine by enrolling in the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society’s course in 2001 – 2002. Witnessing first-hand the impressive results from acupuncture treatment, she expanded her «complementary treatment» options by completing the Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy program at the Healing Oasis in March 2005. Continuing to pursue cutting edge knowledge, she enrolled in Applied Kinesiology and Functional Neurology Leverls I, II, III, and IV. This was followed by attending a seminar on on the mysteries of Allergies. Most recently she has completed the basic course work for Neurological Integrated Systems.
