Never have I been met with such a level of apathy within an ice cream shop. Dare I say I have never been met with such a level of apathy in all my life. The young woman behind the counter stared on as if her soul was long gone. Not once did she ask if I was ready to order, nor any que marking that she was ready to supply me with disappointment. I had ordered an ice cream soda, and what I got was a paper cup half filled with seltzer water and crushed dreams. The other half of the can was then handed to me, so I could then go on to finish my own over priced treat.

I love Uncle Eds. The staff is always so nice and the ice cream is delicious. I would give it 5 stars but it’s rather pricey in my opinion, and to get your bang for your buck, they would have to serve bigger portions. The atmosphere is much nicer than when it was«JAAN’S» and the chocolate is pretty good. Their ice cream pies are great too, and make an easy pick up for a party.

I love Uncle Ed’s. The people who work here are amazing and the ice cream can’t be beat. All the ice cream is homemade and they always have an amazing array of unique flavors. The prices are a little high but for the amount and quality of ice cream you are getting, I consider it worth it. One of my favorites is the coconut because it has real flakes of coconut in it and it is very fresh and flavorful.

LOVE Uncle Ed’s. I always order a pint of their fresh ice cream, and it is as good as it gets. My favorite is the cookies and cream. It is relatively inexpensive, and everyone I know loves it. The seating is adequate and the location is convenient. The staff is always friendly and seem interested in the customer’s happiness and make small talk while waiting. Overall I would recommend Uncle Ed’s to anyone.

I’ve been living in this area since childhood, but haven’t gone to try this place since Jann’s(high school for me! oy!) we went after having a very satisfying, but spicy, dinner just to cool my taste buds. Oh my, am i now having cravings for it! I am now trying to convince my husband almost every week to go… It works almost every time cuz it’s just that good! The prices are a bit on the high side, but the portions are very generous. The first time i went, I got the Nutella flavor(vanilla with Nutella swirl), but it hasn’t been back since. This should be a regular flavor… Ed, you listening??? Though i go in hoping for Nutella, i find something else just as satisfying every time. Give it a shot, you will stop driving to Princeton for Thomas Sweets because this is just as good without the hassle of parallel parking.

I didn’t really get the same friendly experience as the others did. The owner barely turned around to acknowledge me and the girl who served me my ice cream seemed rushed.(I was the only customer) The ice cream is great though, very light and smooth and yet flavorful. The best find was their chocolate chip cookies which were so chewy and had the perfect dark chocolate blend. I even shouted this is amazing as I was leaving to the staff. They didn’t even say thank you? I thought this was so strange… is it cause I am brown?

What a nice creamery. Staffs are very friendly and helpful but their chocolates, candies and ice creams are just so good! My favorites are coconut clusters chocolate truffles and ‘peanut butter cup pie’ ice cream… :) Its quiet distance to drive from my house but whenever I pass this area, this is my must place. I wish II can go back there soon!

Now this was a pleasant find. We were at the Outdoor Sculpture Museum near Trenton and decided to have some ice cream afterwards. Well, the first place we picked was a disaster — it was in Unilocal — came up under ice cream store — but was more of a grocery store with packaged ice cream! Even the reviews were misleading. Anyway, found this one on Unilocal and although it was a good drive, it was well worth it. Ice cream was really good and service was outstanding and friendly. Good Service can make any place seem better but makes the good places stand out — more words of wisdom from Frank M. If ever back there, would go out of my way again for their ice cream. Located in Pennington, NJ in a small strip mall, once you find it and try it, you will go back.

The homemade candy is delicious(especially the chocolate dunked items). The ice cream is rich and amazing and plentiful. Worth the stop!

IT took over JAn’s Sweet Shoppe, and I think it’s better! they have tons of home made ice cream, with some great flavors. the best I have ever had is the chocolate cookies and cream and the one with the pretzels — just great — a little expenseive but well worth it.

Fantastic ice cream and boy do they scoop it out. The«single» is more like 3 scoops. Definitely give this place a try. They have a great selection of other treats too.
