I was meeting some friends for a bike ride on a cold January Sunday afternoon. After the ride, we stopped in Vito’s for quick lunch. Vito’s is clean and pleasant inside and has a lot of seating. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was pretty hungry and just went with two slices of the plain cheese pizza. The pizza had very good flavors and the crust was on the thinner side and crispy. It was a not the best pizza I have ever have ever eaten, but still very, very solid. Vito’s has hot and cold sandwiches and some salads. It is a really good place to stop by when your in the area and want something fast but decent. Pennington is also a cool little town. 3.5 star for Vitos.

I tried Vito’s on the recommendation of a friend that is a local and was very happy that I did. Pennington is a nice little town and Vito’s is in a great spot and has excellent food. The service was excellent and very friendly and the food was excellent.

Great hometown pizzeria with good service and a wide variety of slices and other Italian food. The specialty slices(like BBQ chicken and Brooklyn style thin crust) are especially good. The interior is much improved since they renovated. It’s a staple with the local kids, with good reason.

I actually had a nice review about Vitos which I took down. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. The whole point of calling for a pizza ahead of time is so it would be ready. When I got there I was completely ignored then the girl told me I never called in, which obviously I did and how dare you say that to a customer. I then stood there waiting for 25 minutes and when I asked they said it was in the oven and they dropped the first one on the floor. I’m not sure why they didn’t tell me that in the first place. There were 4 younger guys just standing behind the counter, I don’t know why they weren’t actually working. Finally I told them i was in a rush and they said nothing we can do. I called Pennington Pizza and they had my order ready as soon as i got there and it was way better than Vitos. I live and work in the area and use to get Vitos a lot but they screwed up my last 3 orders and are SO rude I will never go back. Congratulations Vitos you just lost business because my whole family and co-workers use to go there and I am telling everyone about this. Funny thing was Vito was standing there the whole time this happened and never apologized.

I have been going here since I was very young and I can easily say they have the best pizza I have ever had. The service is very fast and the workers are always friendly. My favorite pizza is the buffalo chicken pizza because the sauce is amazing. The salads are also delicious. Another great item on the menu is the veggie sub. The veggies are jersey fresh and it is just delicious.

Fastest service I’ve ever seen! Pizza is piping hot from the oven because it moves so fast. Crust is a 10. Sauce is a 9. Toppings are plentiful. Really can’t say more, you just have to try it.

The perfect pizza place. There isn’t a bad thing on the menu. Pizza, salads, hoagies, cheesesteaks, etc. I could eat here every day of my life and be happy about it. When I am in NJ it’s one of the first places I go.

I love Vito’s for both their pizza and their subs. I always like my pizza crispy, so whenever I order I request for the pizza’s to be well done and they are always done perfectly. I probably order at least once a month and have yet to be disappointed. I have eaten in at least five times in the last year, and I absolutely love the décor. From the lighting, to the wood on the ceilings it has a unique ambiance that is highly enjoyable. I will always recommend my friends and family to try Vito’s.

Solid pizza with pretty good cheese steaks and hoagies. Overall, a solid option — not exceptional, but you won’t be disappointed.

Vitos is a really comfortable place, the atmosphere is relaxed, a great place to just to mellow and have a slice. Everything i have had there was great., The staff have always been pleasant, and have been very attentive.

Decent food but prices are not. There are so many great Italian/pizza places in the area that we just don’t feel the need to go here. Sandwiches aren’t huge and the prices are somewhat high. Would rather spend my money elsewhere. I live in town and still don’t understand all of the hype.

Whenever I am in Hopewell I have pizza at Vitos! Vitos is, in my opinion the flagship pizza place of the town. They have excellent Grandmas/Old Fashion pizza, with the thick slice and sauce on top of the cheese. Tried their rice balls, so delicious! And the prosciutto sandwich, with cheese, spinach onions and balsamic, oh, you would think you have died and gone to Parma! The place can get busy for lunch and taken over by highschool crowd, but dont let that stop you from going. They expanded their building a while back and can handle a crowd.

As a native New Yorker, I’m pretty much spoiled to really good pizza. When I moved to Pennington, NJ I didn’t expect to find anything comparable. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the pizza at Vito’s. The shop was nice and clean, the staff friendly and most important of all, the pizza was good. It’s not New York pizza but it sure come close.

I have yet to meet a Vitos Pizza that I didn’t like and this was no exception. Thank you Unilocal for helping us find this place. On the way back from visiting family in NJ, we entered the town Pennington and pizza and took fellow Unilocalers recommendations to try Vito’s Pizza. And we were so happy that we did. It’s hard to rate a pizza place 5 stars, but for what it is, a pizza joint, this place deserves it. The food was fresh and delicious. They had several kinds of pizza and topping which all looked good. We ordered several slices of the sicilian which was some of the best I’ve had around the globe. So good, that we ordered more slices for the ride home. We also took Matt Gs recommendation and ordered a slice of the Buffalo Chicken, which to our surprise, was also incredible! A Capri salad for and we were in heaven. It hit the spot! As an added bonus, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. If you find yourself on Route 31 in Jersey, do yourself a favor and take a 0.8 mile detour to Vito’s. You’ll be glad you did… as we were.

Very fast home delivery. Price is good. Specialty pies rock. They have so much to pick from. I love going in and grabbing a few different slices. Vito’s Pizza is located on Main Street in the heart of Pennington I can only hope that they change their picture on this listing. That is a paper plate with a sandwich just thrown on it. Come on even McDonalds stages food. Just trying to help

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who is a Pennington-ite? I liked the atmosphere of Vito’s. It was comfy and cozy. I also ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich on my friend’s recommendation. The sandwiches they have are served on their own baked ciabatta bread. Vito’s also has many different types of pizza from Sicilian to Chicago Deep Dish. The sandwich took a bit to get made, but it was probably due to the amount of phone-in orders since I got there just before lunch. The sandwich was delicious. Soft, tender, juicy chicken, yummy cheese, creamy blue cheese, moderate spiciness, and a tasty ciabatta roll. I’m definitely coming back here again if I happen to be around. I wanted to try some of the pizza since it looked really good but I went with my friend’s recommendation.
