History
Established in 2014.
Casino Beach is named after The Casino Resort that first opened in the summer of 1931. It was one of the first tourist retreats on the island & flourished from the 1930’s to the 1950’s. Thousands of visitors from all over the country came together to eat, drink, dance & fish from the Gulf Fishing Pier. Many events were hosted from this little location including fishing tournaments, beauty pageants, & boxing matches. This beloved resort thrived until it closed in the 1960’s. Although we have lost the old building of The Casino Resort, we have not lost it’s spirit. Pensacola’s Casino Beach is still home to many attractions like the Blue Angels Air Show which brought in 100,000 people in 2014. Casino Beach Bar is not only a favorite spot to watch the Blue Angels fly but a perfect venue to ring in the New Years with prime seating to the firework show. As Casino Beach culture continues to evolve, we evolve with it in hopes of giving both tourists & locals the best beach experience possible!
