We bring The Taste of Philadelphia to Pensacola. What that means is, we make Cheesesteaks and Hoagies like you’ll find in Philly, only better. Our customers brag on us for our Cheesesteaks, our Italian Hoagies, our Cannolis, Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer on tap and Tastykakes.

We accept cash, personal and company checks. And there is an ATM on premises with a 50 cent fee.

History

Established in 1999.

Beginning in 1999, our family business started in Northeast Pensacola at 3900 Creighton Road. In 2010 we opened our second shop in the Milestone Shopping Center (Publix), at the intersection of Pine Forest Rd. and Nine Mile Road. Street address for the «Nine Mile» shop is 2166 W. Nine Mile Road.

Been going to this place for years, however will not be going out of my way to eat here anymore. This is what happens to a place when you open another location. Meat was dry, sub roll was frozen on the inside, floor had trash and tables had not been wiped down. Had a staff of three that could care less. So sad really, have talked to the owner for years hard to believe he would let his original locating go to shit.

Delicious subs!!! Steak & cheese and Italian subs are spot on, and the best in Pensacola. Fries are AMAZING and perfectly done. Great sizes (even a small is a good sized sub!)
Only slight downfall is the price. $ 28 for 2 sub meals — one small sub and one large sub. So a bit pricy for to-​go subs, but worth the price in the end.

Good lord the cheesesteak I had here was amazing. Double meat with peppers, onions and sharp provolone. It was definitely filling and the fries were delicious as well. The staff was cool and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was great, just a small hole in the wall where you can see your good being made. There’s maybe 3 or 4 tables to eat in. Love this place

Omg!!! The most amazing thing I put in my mouth. Just incredible. The best… And they were NOT lying. I went 2 days in a row this week. It’s horrible because I just moved to this side of town and they are down the street!!!
I think the Philly cheese steak with onions and feel peppers could turn a vegetarian into a carnivore!!!

Worth the short drive off 10. Philly cheesesteak was yumm-​me! Lots of good flavor in the juicy, tender meat. Old World Hoagie did not disappoint either. Seating is limited. We’ll remember this next time we’re passing through!

AMAZING FOOD, the charm of a hole in the wall cheesesteak place in Philly :) couple of tables, local soft drinks, try the birch beer (root beer) get the cheese to dip the fries, o rings in. Authentic taste, bread flown in from Philly every day. Try this place. You’ll be back.

Terrible service! They could not care less about what you have actually ordered. They will hand you whatever they feel like and send you on your way. One mistake can be forgiven but this was the second time within two weeks that I returned home to unwrap a sandwich that I did not order. This establishment is highly unorganized and extremely unprofessional. Each trip is more disappointing than the last.

A teeny, tiny, hole in the wall that has the best cheesesteak hoagies in Pensacola. It is well on its way to being a local icon. Discovered them through my workplace and we use them often to feed our staff during meetings. Great food and service!

This is the closest cheesesteak I’ve had outside of Philly. I crave it now, just thinking about it. The thin strips of juicy steak, the melted, gooey cheese, and the awesome toasted hoagie is a match made in heaven. It is a no frills restaurant, but it has that Philly atmosphere. Bring cash, as there are no cards accepted.

By far, the best cheesesteak I can remember ever having! I even lived outside of Philly for a couple years and never tasted such fresh rolls or meat. My absolute favorite is the bomb! The added Genoa Slami takes it away!

One of the ground rules for the trip was that we were not going to eat at any chain restaurants (we were successful, starting in) and my son, along with the *Yelp APP, was responsible for finding restaurants and gas stations. Our cheese steaks and fries were very good — no one in Philadelphia need worry — and the staff was cordial and helpful.
The staff was friendly and our sandwiches were ready quickly, along with some really good fries. Located in a strip mall which has seen better days, this was a real find.
