Went in today as a walk-​in, and even though they were short-​handed with a vacation I was able to get a haircut with less than a 20 minute wait. The wait was easy since there is a Checker’s on the same corner and it was lunch time. The Blue Angels were also practicing right overhead, so time passed quickly.
Mary was extremely nice, and gave me a perfect haircut — also telling me exactly what she did so the look can be replicated later.
The haircut, eyebrow trim, and a hot neck shave were all quick and was a very reasonable price. I am sure a lot of the guys and gals from the base come here, and I think it is a great stop for locals and old-​timers as well.

Awesome haircut! Didn’t have to wait over an hour like other nearby barber shops. Great cut, lady cutting my hair didn’t talk too much, and was reasonably priced. Will be my permanent barber!

I’ve been a regular customer of Kathy’s shop since the 90s and even though I no longer reside in Pensacola, I still stop in when visiting the area to get a haircut at a great price and from friendly barbers. The best part is the community/​family oriented atmosphere where you are not a «number.» I’ve never had to take a number to join the queue at Southern Style and it is appreciated. Kathy and fellow barbers remember their customers and treat you well. Highly recommended!
