We are a full service pharmacy specializing in compounding! Some of our services include FREE prescription delivery, compliance packaging, and medical consultations. Not only do we compound bio-​identical hormones, we also compound for children and animals!

History

Established in 1985.

Originally owned and operated by Gary Alwan, Rph, this pharmacy became a well known fixture in the West Peoria community. After changing ownership hands in 2007, the pharmacy continues to thrive with customer service as the main focal point. Adopting the little green delivery cars in 2011, Alwan Pharmacy and Compounding Center is quickly becoming an icon in the entire greater Peoria area. We are PCAB certified and compound medications for hormone replacement, children and pets.

Business Owner

Mike Minesinger, RPh, JD received his Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois-​Chicago and his law degree from the University of Illinois-​Champaign. Mike has served 4 years as President of the Central Illinois Pharmacists Association and also served 10 years on the Board of Directors for Illinois Pharmacists, most recently as chairman of the board. While in school, Mike was awarded the Van Schaack Prize in Chemistry and the Ralph Marshall Henninger Award for Pharmaceutical Compounding. Each year Mike completes more than 100 hours of Continuing Education. Mike has brought much knowledge in the area of Bio-​Identical Hormone Replacement and put his compounding skills to use for many customers. During his spare time, Mike roots for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears and likes relaxing at home with his wife and daughter.
