Apache Sun Design specializes in custom Websites, packaged with custom Twitter and Facebook pages. We will also design your company logo, business cards and letterhead. In addition, we create specialized headers, sidebars, banners and print advertising layouts. We do all of this at an affordable rate.

History

Established in 1994.

Apache Sun Design was created by Kenneth Carroll, a second generation native of Arizona.

Carroll started working with graphics in 1991 when he bought his first Macintosh. His first computer was a Mac Classic, while he was living in Tennessee. He started his first of three newspapers using this little Mac.

He was the first newspaper in Tennessee to use the computer to do 100% pagination, including ad placement, while all of the other papers were still doing manual paste-​ups.

Apache Sun Design was created in 1994 when advertising customers started requesting websites. Carroll sold the newspaper and moved to Utah with Apache Sun Design, and started another newspaper.

In 2004 the newspaper fell victim to the rise of the Internet, so Carroll transferred Apache Sun back home to Phoenix, Arizona, and focused all of his attention to building and designing websites.

Business Owner

Kenneth Carroll is a second generation native of Arizona. USAF veteran, and former corporate and airline pilot. He has been designing advertisement displays since 1991, and began designing websites in 1994. He has lived in eight different states, but has come back to Arizona for good.
