History
Established in 1997.
I founded the company back in 1993, in Flagstaff, it helped me pay my way through college. In 1998 I moved to Phoenix, in 1999 I renamed it to Emerald Computers and I opened the first store at 43rd and Peoria. I grew that location to become highly successful, in 2004 I opened a second location at 16th St and Camelback. In 2006 I sold the east side store to another computer store, and the majority of the rest of the company and moved to the Philippines. By the end of 2007 the partner I sold it to had closed the main location, I was able to buy it back for less. I ran it out of my house, mostly focusing on selling laptops, and building websites until 2010. We decided to open up our Olive store in early 2011. We grew quickly at that location, so much so that we needed to get a bigger location, we moved to our current location at 7642 W Vogel #3 at the end of 2014. In 2014 I also became a Realtor® and will be using part of the new location to grow that business.
