Go Paddle AZ

Had a great time paddling here on Dec 26. It’s beautiful paddling in a lake, surrounded by desert. Rented two kayaks, a double and a single; they are sit on tops (I prefer real kayaks) but perfectly serviceable, and they plugged the drainage holes for us, which helped. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kayaking in the winter might seem a bit odd, but I think it’s the best time of the year — it looks like the lake would be busy in the summer, but in the winter, it was peaceful.

Yayyy! So glad I found Gopaddleaz! We had such a fun time on the Bonfire kayak tour. Please add more dates!!! And different types of tours e.g., bbq dinner, campout, or even a early morning sunrise breakfast kayak tour?

This place was seriously so much fun! I went here with a friend for a morning kayak. Jarod was really helpful with a quick 2 minute lesson and we were off to explore Lake Pleasant on a beautiful morning. We already have plans to try SUP next/​then SUP Yoga. Excellent experience, I highly recommend Go Paddle AZ.

What a way to get the fam out of the A/​C house and outside… perfect for hot summer days. I suggest you get there in the morning though to avoid the winds that sometimes pick up in afternoon. We have been going almost every weekend. The prices are fair, the time is well spent and the staff is accommodating. There is sometimes a wait even with reservations but it’s usually no longer then 10 – 15 min and while you wait, grab a bite to eat in the café next door. Highly recommend GoPaddle!

AMAZING time! It’s a given that paddle boarding is a blast. But the staff made the experience so much fun! Jared was super knowledgable about different board types and equipment and was totally understanding when we made it back 45min late. Oops! If you’re thinking of ever renting, do it from these guys

We rented 2 boards for our Anniversary trip to the Scottsdale area. This was the most relaxing part of our trip. Weather was perfect in late August (Friday). School has already started for most of the kids in the area so the lake was fairly wide-​open. We followed Jared’s recommendation and paddled out to Honeymoon Cove (huge no-​wake zone) and it was just about perfect timing for our 2-​Hr trip. We will be back for sure!

I had a GREAT experience at Go Paddle AZ! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I was with the Lululemon SUP and it was such a great event. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something fun to do with your friends/​family/​loved ones and even your dog!

Amazing experience. So much fun and a pretty good arm work out. Staff extremely help making sure all questions are answered. Can’t wait to come back again.

This was so fun! The guys who worked there made it fast and professional, to where you can get the right instruction of properly paddling right and to save as much energy as possible, also not a bad price considering it’s something to do in Arizona!

I’ve also wanted to give it a try so I found this company without reviewing and I was so pleasantly surprised. Getting there is a little tricky but not hard and from the moment I approached I felt super comfortable. I went there solo and found the owner to friendly and and a super coach. He always asked if its too much instruction and explained the way to paddle in various ways. Excellent teacher!

Great rental experience! It was our family’s first time paddleboarding and we were not sure what to expect. Go Paddle was extremely helpful in providing us with ample instruction and making the rental process quick & easy. We were out on the water within 10 minutes of arrival. Tip for those who are unfamiliar with Lake Pleasant– you’ll park in the lot and they have golf cart shuttles to take you down to the dock where Go Paddle is located. Go Paddle has cubbies to leave stuff in, and provides you with a wet bag to attach to your board so you can comfortably take your camera/​phone/​wallet/​keys out on the water with you. Lake Pleasant is absolutely beautiful and great to explore by paddleboard. It’s much easier than it may seem so don’t be scared off if you’re new to paddleboarding. Highly recommend these guys!

Go paddle is an awesome experience! For those that are new to it or a pro, it’s so fun! Awesome staff and service! Go paddle is a great company to use to spend your time outside and try something new!

I went kayaking and will definitely be back to try the stand up Paddle Board. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

I have always wanted to rent a paddle board when visiting Lake Pleasant. The equipment at Go Paddle is in great shape and the staff is very friendly! Jared did a great job showing me the right way to paddle. It was a great workout. I strongly recommend this business, especially for beginners!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Go Kayak Arizona. We had a great time paddling at Lake Pleasant. Jared was very helpful with all of our kayaking needs. It was affordable for our whole family. We highly recommend paddling with Go Kayak Arizona.

I tried the paddleboard yoga option a few days ago and it was really enjoyable. I was a little nervous at first but the instructor Rhiannon was really patient and helpful. The boards were new and paddles were nice. The water had a lot of wood debris near the dock but the rest of the lake was very clean and the water was comfortably warm. We were out on the water doing yoga for about an hour and a half and had some free time at the end to explore the lake on our own after the class.
The staff were really nice and personable. They also have a guy who shuttles people back to their cars in a golf cart. Parking is $ 6 and a yoga session is $ 45. This includes the paddleboard rental. A little pricey but worth the cool experience. Call ahead of you want to do yoga, Rhiannon emails instructions and etc. She also takes photos on the water and sends them to you which is a cool bonus.

So much fun! I’m totally addicted! Jared gets your board ready, paddle set up and a quick lesson on how to get the most out of your time — I’m a fan!

My friend and I had a great time… the reason I’m giving one star is because we arrived on time for our 8:00 a.m. reservation and the girl there was getting her SUP yoga group signed in and told us we needed to wait for Jared (sp?) the owner to check us in and that she was waiting for him as well.
A couple of guys walked through and we asked if they were Jared and one says no I’m Clint his twin brother and he went on his merry way. Jared didn’t show up until 8:20 am, no apologies no «welcome, how can I help?» His tone the entire time during our check in was of someone who did not care about customer service.
My friend drove all the way from east Mesa which means it took an hour and a half to get up to Lake Pleasant and this guy couldn’t have the consideration to show up on time for his customers who had already made a reservation online.
Really poor customer service on his part wouldn’t go back to rent from him again. On the upside one of the employees who helped us get the kayaks together was really awesome, happy to be there great customer service.
No competition does not mean you do not care about your customers Jared. If you’re not going to be on time phone someone else and have them make sure that your 8 o’clock customers are being checked in.
Aside from his cavalier attitude, we had a beautiful time on the water.

Cool staff and good equipment. One even let me borrow a cooler for my beers, without my asking. Just do it.
