Pavilion Dental Group and Orthodontics

About a year and a half ago I faced the terrifying situation of having an upper bridge, spanning 4 teeth, literally fall out. I immediately went to the dentist who placed the bridge and was told it would take 5 days to even begin assessing the situation — only heightening my anxiety. I was referred to Dr. Adam Block by a friend and seeing him is the single best decision I’ve made in my oral healthcare journey.
100% empathetic to my situation, he squeezed me in during his lunch hour, quickly assessed, gave me options, and began molding a temporary immediately. Needless to say, this won me over!
Many dental visits later, I am a huge fan! He is consistently professional, inviting, caring, and never ever inflates what really needs to be done. (In the past, after cleanings, Dentists would recommend a million things needing to be done and all for a very low astronomical fee). The office is full of joy and always very clean!
As a person who was always nervous about visiting the dentist, I am thrilled to say I now actually enjoy visiting! Sincerely, if you suffer from dental anxiety (it has to be a thing), I highly recommend Dr. Block! And even if you don’t and simply want a positive experience, again I say Dr. Block — I refer everyone to him and they always thank me!

I loved my first visit to Pavilion Dental Group! I contacted them via their website and within an hour was contacted. I made appointments for my twin 14 yr old boys with ease. We arrived a few minutes late, but were greeted and felt the love. The ladies in the office were so nice, caring, and helpful to me and my boys. My boys got right in. One of my sons was so anxious but they took really good care of him and made him feel comfortable. The Dentist greeted me and let me know my one son should have two teeth extracted sooner than later. He was not pushy, just gave me his recommendations. He brought up braces, but also said, «Once the teeth were pulled the adult teeth may line up, so let’s see.» I was pleasantly surprised! So many of my friends have kids who are on their 2^nd set of braces… I have always found Dentists and Orthodontists to be greedy… Not true at Pavilion! They truly care about their patients. The initial appointment was affordable, but the (much needed) teeth extractions were quite expensive. They worked out an affordable payment plan with me. I am overly pleased with them and hope to continue going to them for all of our dental needs for years to come. Thank you!

Very pleased with my experience at Pavilion Dental yesterday. The dental assistant was very sweet and the hygienist nice and gentle. The dentist was awesome. I thought I had a broken cavity (it is over 35 yrs old) but he suggested I keep using sensodyne toothpaste and get a fluoride treatment with my cleaning. There was no concern of bad fillings just sensitive teeth.
I have had friends complain of their dentist doing unnecessary work/​treatments. Not this office. they are honest. Im very happy with my care and will be booking my entire family for service.

Our family has never been so happy with a dentist or dental office! Great location, close to home for us. The staff is friendly and explains everything very well. The dental staff is very caring and compassionate (for the wimps in our family). They have specialists that come to the office so we aren’t being referred all over the valley. Clean and modern office. We’ve been patients for about two years or so now and are very satisfied with the whole experience each time we visit the office. Thank you Dr. Block and to your staff for giving us such great care!!!

Amazing service, dentistry, office staff! Went in for an emergency. Broken tooth. Got me in asap… same day! The dentist was amazing. Gentle, informative, really cares about my needs and how I was doing during the procedure. I had a crown made and put in same day. I was out within 3 hours. No pain and what an unbelievably great staff. Payment arrangements available as well as dental insurance. So happy I decided to go there. Would recommend whole heartedly! Very very happy!!!

Appointment scheduled for 10:30am, called an hour ahead to confirm appointment. They stated my appointment was scheduled for 9:30am. She apologized and said someone must have entered it into the computer wrong by mistake. She checked to see if there was any other times available for the day, which there weren’t, she consulted with someone in the back and said if you can hurry over now we can make it happen. And I did, said I could be there in 15. After arriving and filling out paperwork, I was taken back by the dentist (DDS Richard Farnsworth), sat in the chair and went through initial questions with him. He proceeded to tell me the conditions of the appointment were around performing an exam and X-RAY’s. I questioned a cleaning and he stated a cleaning may happen only if your gums are healthy etc… I asked why exactly isn’t that clarified when I called in, or while I was upfront, I just had braces pulled off the day before and have had this scheduled for 2 weeks to make sure I get a cleaning done… This exam and X-​rays could have been scheduled anytime in the past 2 weeks to make sure a cleaning would occur that day. The doc smirked and said I’m sensing frustration here. I said of course you do, it’s not until I’m in the chair you guys start to communicate with your patients, and the dude stormed off saying you know what, were done here. He walked up front, handed my chart off to the people at the desk and I walked out.
I’ve never been so disrespected by a business. Incompetent, rude, and far from recommended.

My girlfriend and I have been going here for almost two years now and we love it. It is a very clean office and is pretty tech savvy (cool little digital signature pads). The front office staff, hygienist and dentist are super friendly. I also love that they don’t use any high pressure sales tactics for whitening, toothbrushes, etc. My girlfriend has had some heavy dental work done and loves that they have same day in house crown services! I would highly recommend this place.

Just had a cleaning and checkup today. Was very satisfied with the experience and friendliness of all the staff and Dr. Block. I have found my permanent dentist. They have all the latest technology and can do crowns in one day. Kudos for great service!

******Since writing this review the dentist sent me a refund for my visit, on his own accord, and apologized for the experience. He said he was having an off day, and that behavoir isn’t the norm. I felt it only right to change the rating from one star to two, and add this note. He did take responsibility for most of the things I claimed, and I think that is admirable.***********

Nice, clean, friendly office. I love the team, everybody is so nice. As much as I dislike going to the dentist, I don’t mind going here! :)

Just had my general checkup. One cavity (small) but had to get a deep cleaning. They helped me plan out my list of dental work that I needed done to optimize my 2011 dental benefits and wait until Jan 2012 to do the rest so that I saved money. Dental plan only covers $ 1500 a year, so they pointed out that I could wait a month and save some money out of my pocket. Yippee!

I was looking for a new dentist after moving into the area, and decided to try Pavilion. I am completely satisfied with my experience; Dr. Block was extremely professional and spent a lot of time explaining things to me. The initial exam was very thorough, and both the hygenist and the payment/​insurance ladies were very capable and pleasant to work with. I had to wait less than five minutes both times I came, and it was also convenient that they rotate in specialists for specific types of work at that office (I needed a root canal and was able to schedule it there)
Most impressive, to me, was the high level of technology in the office, far surpassing anything I’ve ever seen. The fact that they had a machine which made a permanent crown on the same day was very nice and saved me an appointment. I would definitely recommend Pavilion to anybody; I feel like they are very competent and professional and am happy to have found them!

I have been going to Pavilion Dental for the past two years, and I have always had great experiences. The front desk staff is very helpful at explaining reimbursements. The hygienist Liz Brown is very skilled and a lot of fun to talk with. The dentist is also very professional and explains treatments fully and in an understandable fashion. I would definitely recommend this office.
