We ordered the cajun chicken and turkey avocado. The were both very good, but very small. Very little between the bread. I was surprised because the cost of the sandwiches were 8.00 each. I also ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Also very good but a tiny bowl. The soup was 4.00. Everything is a la carte so the bill added up quickly. Overall, food is very good, way overpriced, and we had a great person behind the counter.

One of the top sandwich places in the Toledo area… At a premium price of course. It is only worth it when using the Groupon $ 9 for $ 14 worth. A regular Sandwich with rather skimpy portions is $ 8. While tasty not nearly worth the money. Yes they use boars head which in reality is not as high quality as it once was.(Metro Deli, is a superior quality brand and can be found for much less cost than Boars Head.) So If I add chips and a drink I’m looking at ~$ 12 for a sandwich lunch. Yes this place is in Perrysburg so they can get away with their 40% price gouging. The salads are solid and the place has adequate design and décor.

This is the best sandwich place in the Toledo area! I love the build your own with all kinds of different veggies, and they also have all kinds of specialty sandwiches that sound great. They have breakfast sandwiches to which I want to try but have not tried yet. Also great is that they frequently have Groupons so you can save a little bit of money to. Get there before noon because it really fills up at noon.

I always get the roasted portobello sandwich(tomato, onion, lettuce, cheddar cheese) on ciabatta bread with pesto mayo. It’s the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve ever had. I literally used to go once a week for a couple weeks. Only around $ 8 for a sandwich that is extremely delicious and completely filling. I could probably only eat half and eat the rest for leftovers. But I don’t because it is just that good. Their smoothies are also pretty good :-)

Basic lunchmeat sandwiches, nothing original, come on northwest ohio, can someone please open a real deli shop with a true slow cooked pastrami thick cut sandwich on rye? I got the«Mega Sarnie» pastrami, $ 11.49, looks like a sandwich you would make to take to school in a brown bag? This place is new but very dirty with mold on the glass of the cooling displays, a bunch of teenagers working there, not a true sandwich deli shop, disappointing, thank god for Groupon Deal.

Good food. I recommend the Turkey Avocado(get it grilled) and the Cajun Club. I also really like the Orange You Glad smoothie. My first complaint about this place is that it seems to close early all the time. If you say you’re open til 8, be open til 8. I’ve driven all the way there to find that it’s shut down at 6:30. That’s really irritating. Also, they have an app where you can order online, which I loved, and they used to deliver. I was ordering frequently for lunch but recently they changed the order minimum to $ 100. Since I don’t have the option to drive there, they’ve lost my lunch business. A few minor tweaks and this place could be 5 stars.

The food was pretty good but too expensive. I really liked the pesto mayo, and I loved the whole grain bread. But the amount of meat on the«regular» sarnie was tiny. It cost $ 7.49 for a small sandwich. Because I don’t eat a lot it was actually plenty to fill me up, but in my opinion at least $ 2 overpriced. I did like their unique selection of chips though. I got aged cheddar horseradish and they were good.

The service is very slow, and with an attitude. Not the attitude you expect when going out to a deli.

Recently got a GROUPON for here so decided to check it out. Without the groupon I would have paid $ 18 for 2 sandwiches and two waters. Generally, I’m okay with that, but receiving the sandwiches I was quite disappointed with their size. I got a «large» sandwich and the person I was with got a «regular» sandwich, but when we actually got them they were exactly the same size(when I paid $ 2 extra for the larger size). Don’t get me wrong the sandwiches were quite good(that’s why they get 3 stars), I was just super disappointed in the size. It stinks when you pay basically $ 20 for lunch and leave still hungry. If you are not a moderate to heavy eater and just want a pretty decent meal, this place will probably work for you. If you want a decent amount of food and a place that will fill you up, do not come here.

I decided to check out JB’s for lunch today after reading so many rave Unilocal reviews. In my opinion, MOST of them were spot on. I emphasize MOST, and I’ll explain why later. JB’s has a delicatessen feel to it — all of their Boar’s Head meats and cheeses are set up in display cases. So, everything is freshly cut, which is good! I went with the Sarnie’s muffaletta — well, it was supposed to be a muffaletta, but they were out of the ciabatta bread. So, they offered me French bread. I really wanted the ciabatta though. After all, is it really a muffaletta without the ciabatta — or focaccia even? One star down! Anywho, my sandwich was served up quickly. After reading other Unilocal reviews, I expected to see a huge sandwich packed with lots of meats and cheese. Alas! this was NOT the case! My sandwich was between 6 – 8 inches and it only had a thin layer of good stuff. I suppose this wouldn’t have been such an issue, but it cost me nearly $ 8, and it didn’t even come with a pickle slice! So all up, lunch at Sarnie’s cost me ten bucks — they charged me two and some change for a 12 oz bottle of Fanta as well. When I left, I still felt hungry. So value for money, Sarnie loses another star. I suppose JB’s has to charge more to compensate for the high rent they probably pay at Levis Commons. But, if you can get more for your money elsewhere(Ahem — Dave’s Cosmic Subs across the freeway), why bother coming here?(unless you’re in the immediate vicinity).

I eat here two to three times a week, not only are they convenient because they deliver, but the variety of foods offered is awesome. Definitely a nice place to sit and eat or grab and go.

Very good sandwiches. Reasonably priced. Had the #3 turkey and the bread was delicious. Did the sandwich/salad combo — salad was good too especially the dressing. One of companions had the ciabatta bread, which was nice and thick/fluffy. Would definitely go back.

The staff is nice but most really seemed more involved with themselves then the customers. I felt like most of the people would ignore you until I had to flag them down, even when you want to give them money. The food itself is very good, heck even great, but it pricey. Especially since there are similar shops around the corner. The building is huge but there no real flow is weird. It like they have two counters so you never know which you should got. The menu is stretched over a huge chalk board and there isn’t much rhyme or reason. Finding a trash there can be an Olympic event.

I love JB’s. I have yet to have a sandwich that I didn’t like. It’s great to go in and see the new sandwiches on the chalk board. If I can’t decide what to get then I always know the JB’s chicken or the Cajun Club is fantastic.

This place is great. I order the turkey avocado sandwich and it was delicious. It’s a great place to eat in or take out. They have outdoor seating which is also nice. I will definitely be returning.

First, this was my first visit, and the place was confusing, and the staff weren’t too helpful. I was reading the chalkboards to find a clue about their menu, and then finally picked up a piece of paper on a high counter that happened to be the menu(meanwhile the girl waiting to take my order just stared). The counter girl didn’t ask if it was my first time or try to be helpful. After she took my order, the girl gave me no information about where to pick up my food or if they would bring it to me, etc. Ended up getting tuna on wheat with a greek salad. The tuna was WAY too salty. I wasn’t offered to have toasted bread, so the bread didn’t hold up well to the tuna. The sandwich was a good size. The salad was terrible. Lettuce pieces were huge, and the feta was poor quality. However, the dressing was ok. The restaurant needs a makeover. The walls are scuffed, the outdoor seating(inside) is not comfortable, and I had a nice view of the toilet as walked by with my food because the door was wide open. When I was done eating, I wasn’t sure whether I should clear my table or just leave. Again, the place lacks direction. Overall, I’ve had a LOT better elsewhere for the money. I’m going to stick to Panera(better prices, options, and quality along with much friendlier/helpful staff).

We were studying at the nearby Flying Joe, and decided to get lunch at JB’s Sarnie Shoppe, since it was just a short walk away. I had heard good things so I was pretty excited. I got a reuben sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup combo(½ a sandwich and cup of soup) with a bottle of Coke. Cost about 9 $. The food itself was good, the soup was great. However, the portions really weren’t big enough to justify spending 9 $ on the meal. I left lunch still hungry, which is the worst. Also when I went too the counter, we said it was our first time here and the guy at the shoppe wasn’t that helpful. He wasn’t rude per say, but he wasn’t polite or helpful. All in all, I think I would try it out again, and try out one of their more unique sandwiches that you can’t get at other typical sandwich stores.

Took my Mom here years ago for lunch and a quick shopping trip to Levis Commons. Fresh sandwiches and sides! Great lunch option instead of fast food places since its right off the highway.
