This is my favorite winery. We had my daughters engagement party here and everything was perfect. They opened up their beautiful log home venue to us and we’re so accommodating. Laura became like one of the family and was helpful with wine and food choices. The wine was excellent and Laura was very knowledgable about the wines. I would give this 10 stars if I could. You need to put this winery at the top of your list to visit.

This is the best winery I have ever been to — and I have been to A LOT of wineries. My husband and I first started going here in 2005. We stopped in the day after we were married and had a tasting. Don, the winemaker, greeted us and was generously gave us a bottle of wine as a wedding gift. We became wine members in 2009. This is the only wine membership to get. It is truly worth every penny! We enjoyed the snowshoe event in the vineyard in 2010. They had a five course meal and then we trekked through the vineyard with our snowshoes to a bonfire where they served us hot gluwein. We come to the house every time we are in town and are never disappointed. Even if you don’t like wineries, come and see the house. It is beautiful & everyone is so welcoming.

Such poor service. We wanted to buy some bottles but the servers were so busy with one other group, we left after only a glass each. We love the wine but will skip the wineries tasting room from now on. The place across the highway was so much more hospitable. And they have good wine, too.

Man, this place feels like a home because it was once a home. What a great place! Just browsing around inside is entertaining, tons of stuffed animals that the owner hunted himself, architecture is just amazing.
Great tasting wines, server was a one woman show. Amazing of her to do everything at once.
Really enjoyed the apple wine, would recommend flights over the tastings!

Stopped by after a tasting near by on the recommendation from close friends. First, the building and seeing is nice as others have said. However, the service leaves much to be desired. I don’t know if we’re giving off a vibe or what, but we’ve sat with empty glasses for too long and ignored for much of our time here.
As for the wines, there are some enjoyable wines, but many of one’s we tried also weren’t as enjoyable we had hoped. Dumped more wine here than I have ever dumped before. The appetizers offered we’re boring, priced a little high and having to purchase cheese and crackers separately seemed a little wrong.
Definitely won’t be back. Bummer, because I really wanted to like this place.

Pulling up place is beautiful. Owners were out front getting ready to go out they said hi and were very friendly and talkative and explained about the cabin grandpa made took 6 years. We went in after few mins of chatting did the wine sample. About 10 wines. We ordered bread, cheese, and prosciutto all pre packaed store bought type in store package. Lots of people came as we enjoyed outside sampling. We bought two bottles of wine so no charge on both samples. If you buy 1 bottle you get one free sample we bought 2 so both our samplings were free. Both our wine servers very nice. After we finished we saw grandpa he was coming back from a ride he was very old but soo funny and friendly. He built the place i so wish he could builds me a beautiful place too. Lol no complaints. Go try it.

Had an excellent trip to icicle log cabin. We choose to do a wine tasting and got cheese and crackers to go along with it. there was a greatlittle out door space to sit at. it was a wonderful experiance and I will certainly be back

The Icicle Ridge Winery location is stunning. It is worth the drive just to see the beautiful facility. However, that is not even the best part, the wines are perfect and the people are AMAZING. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we had an excellent experience. You cannot go wrong visiting! We became wine club members and are coming back soon for one of their cool events.

I found this wonderful winery when on a solo road trip along HIghway 2. It is a little ways away from Leavenworth in Peshastin, roughly 4 mile drive. They have a wine tasting room in the heart of Leavenworth though, which serves most of their wonderful wines.
The establishment is on a beautiful piece of property in the heart of the wine vineyards. You are surrounded by a breath taking view of the valley. The building is a log cabin hand built by the owner Louie, with wood work inside to wow. There is a deck where you can sit outside on a nice spring day, take in the beautiful view and taste wine into the sunset.
When you walk into the cabin, the family treats you like one of their own. I am a wine member, which by the way is WAY worth every penny. When I come for the wine pick up days, they have free wine tasting for all of my friends and treats to eat while tasting.
They have live music in the summers and set up a stage right next to the cabin with tables and an outdoor tasting area. The music is always relaxing along with the wines. The crush festival they have once a year is soooo much fun and they set up barrels with grapes within, so you can take your shoes off and crush, crush, crush away. Grapes between your toes is a great feeling, especially after a few glasses of wine.
Take your family, loved ones, friends, anyone! If you miss this winery when in Leavenworth, make a special trip just to visit. IT IS SOOO WORTH IT. If you like wine, time with friends you love, you will love this experience and your friends will thank you.

The best thing about Icicle is the family-​feeling atmosphere. In only minutes of walking in we were greeted by who looked like the owner and other workers at the shop. Everyone seemed to be having a fun time and just enjoying the experience (unlike other wineries where some people just seem stuck-​up). The décor is very log-​cabin-​esque with animal heads posted on every wall! haha
Tasting ($ 10 for 5 tastes) is free with the purchase of any bottle and the Icicle brand is ONLY sold in this store so take advantage of purchasing wines when you’re visiting. Delicious wines too!
While we were there on a Saturday, the winery had a taco truck parked just outside with live music playing as well. It really was the perfect event for our afternoon and I will definitely make it a point to come back.

For me, the main draw about this winery is the atmosphere. The day i went, it was a beautiful fall day, and they had a food truck there as well! The log cabin that is the tasting room is just beautiful, and the staff is quite friendly. We enjoyed our tasting experience, and ended up buying a bottle to take home. If you are in Leavenworth/​Peshastin, and are looking for someplace to go wine tasting, this is a good choice.

Very nice grounds and a beautiful log cabin make this an excellent spot to visit. Very relaxed atmosphere pleasant people and yes good wine.

We have been wine club members here almost since the beginning. Love every bottle we have ever opened. The extended Wagner family goes out of their way to make each and every friend (customer) feel welcomed and special in their log home and the tasting room in Leavenworth. I’ve even made a few of the recipes included in our club package and they have all been yummy. Keep up the good work!

While I didn’t fall in love with all of the wines that we tasted here, I loved the setting and the staff. They were having a wine club event in the main lodge so they were doing their tastings in the cellar. It was $ 5 to try six wines and the fee was waived with purchase. The lady who was doing our tasting was very friendly and came outside of the cellar to enjoy the view and chat with us about our vacation. We bought a bottle of their chocolate cherry passion, which is probably the most interesting dessert wine I’ve ever tried — it tastes a bit like a tootsie roll.

I was brought here for a wine tasting by a friend, and I think it just might have been the best wine tasting experience I’ve ever had!
The place looks like a cross between a great summer party location and a friendly, airy log cabin. It’s well-​decorated with quirky and classy furniture and art and knickknacks. It’s incredibly welcoming, as are the staff. We sat outside in the sun and went down the entire wine list.
Their wines are extremely tasty and flavorful. You can especially taste each of the individual flavors in the white wines. My favorite is The Blondes. You can actually taste the hint of lemon kick in at the end.
Very very awesome. I highly recommend it.

I was fortunate to be invited to a wine tasting dinner event by a friend of mine last summer. This winery is nestled in the hills outside of Leavenworth. The scenery is breathtaking!!! The spectacular ‘log cabin” house is gorgeous inside and out. The food was flawless and not to mention the attention to detail that went into every delicious course. The table itself was decorated so beautifully, as you can see from my photos.
However, don’t just get caught up in the ambience of this place… the WINE is the real show! Every wine they make is smooth, delicious and wonderfully aromatic. A standout is their very unusual *sparkling syrah… an interesting red created in the methode champenoise. Also a favorite of mine is their syrah, bursting with cherry and plum flavors.
The owners are gracious hosts and if you are lucky you might even get delighted with a sax serenade after dinner! If you head up in that direction, do not miss going to this place and buying a few bottles of wine. And if you want a truly memorable summer evening, take a date or your best friend out for one of their wine tasting dinners!

For some of those who don’t realize that this is for the actual Icicle Ridge Winery in Peshastin. They have a tasting room in Leavenworth on Front street that is also a must visit, but this is the place where they make the wine and is totally cool.
Very old world rustic and with loads of history. My girlfriend and I came through here for the wine tour and free wine tasting during our stay during Oktoberfest and accidentally bumped into the people we met at the Munchen Haus the day before. We ended up becoming acquainted and spent close to 3 or 4 hours there with them.
Good times, great friends…
