Alex and Tina are the most honest, good people and they’ve taken such great care of me every time I needed them, which was A LOT because I had a 1999 Saab — enough said right? It’s hard to even get the parts anymore.. I can’t even tell you how amazing the service is. My car broke down so many times and Alex always explained what I needed and if I had to cut corners because of money, they would prioritize the remedies my car needed. They were my lifeline many times. Alex would even take me in when I drove up, having just left the freeway because all these lights and bells were going off, and did a quick diagnostic on the spot so I could either leave the car or still drive it until I could bring it in. They always concentrated on my safety first and I can’t thank them enough. I can never imagine going anywhere else. Ever!

The other reviews of A & T really describe how good they are. I use a lift-​equipped mini van as transportation for me and my power wheelchair. The lift and other modifications sometimes make repairs tricky. Alex always, always, figures out a way to repair even the most obscure problem. He just finished tracking down and fixing a puzzling electrical glitch. He was very mindful to not spend too much time (my money) on fixing it without discussing the problem and possible solutions with me.
Plus, they’re both great people and very much a part of our community.

Alex & Tina are the best… Always treat us with respect, & do a very thorough, & professional job on our Passat Wagon… Prices are outstanding – & always less $ than the VW dealership.

After a friend recommended this shop, I tried it and was so impressed with Alex’s thoroughness, honesty, and responsiveness. After a couple of years, I moved away from the area, and had to find another mechanic. I am back now, and headed straight to A & T once again. The only downside is that they are a real ‘mom and pop’ operation, not open on the weekends, and take care of themselves regularly to go on vacation, so you might need a back up plan if you are in need of emergency service. I am glad to be back in Petaluma and able to use their outstanding services again.

Alex and Tina, please never leave town again! A&T is by far the most honest and truth worthy shop in town. You are never surprised. Alex is dedicated and hardworking and Tina knows you and your family. Thank you for years of service on all my family member’s vehicles.
