Been coming here for years. This is the best office and most impressive staff I’ve encountered.

Friendly knowledgable people and efficient service. Diane was amazing. She took the awkward and sometimes gag-​inducing X-​ray process into something slightly more fun. Or at least funny. She was super sweet and I could tell she really loves her job.
Dr. Jereb was friendly and explained the X-​rays and exam process. He was gentle when scraping and conservative about follow up procedures. That being said, I’ve got two cavities to fill and hopefully that goes well!
I highly recommend this practice!

I was planning on going to see Dr. Jereb only once until I could get back in with my former dentist since I was due for a cleaning and just moved back to the area. Dr. Jereb was conservative and careful, great at explaining and answering my questions, and all the staff were excellent. I will continue to get my teeth cleaned and cared for here.

I had a very positive experience with this office. Dr. Barton explained everything and answered all my questions. He performed my procedure (root canal, sigh) very smoothly and methodically, keeping updated along the way. Highly recommend!

I HATE being in the dentist chair, but when i have to go, I know Dr. Barton will take great care of me… I’ve had many different things done overs the years all with good results.

I needed a new dentist and was recommended to Dr. Barton. I was able to see Dr. Jereb and would highly recommend this office. Dr. Jereb was very meticulous, kind and pleasant. i’ve heard nothing but good things about this office, Dr. Barton and Dr. Jereb. Five stars from me!

I saw Dr. Jereb, another dentist, who works in Dr. Barton’s dentist office. He was wonderful and so down to earth! The front desk was also so friendly and nice! Growing up in the peninsula, our family dentist in Mountain View brought a lot of painful memories (filling cavities) to my childhood so naturally seeing the dentist struck fear in my heart. I tried South Beach Dental in San Francisco SOMA, ironically a luxurious dental spa for 1 cleaning and some fillings, but the dentist also brought me some discomfort when he did the fillings for me. My cousin recommended Dr. Jereb after she saw him and said he was the best dentist in the SF bay area! She said he was so meticulous and took careful time to check each single tooth! This has been the first time I have seen a dentist and felt absolutely no pain! Dr. Jereb performed fillings and put in a crown for me. Even when he injected local anesthetic with the needle, I didn’t feel a thing! Everything was smooth sailing and perfect! During the process he always checked in to see how I was doing and reminded me if I felt any bit of discomfort to raise my hand and he would stop. Now that I have found the best dentist in the Bay Area, I am going to continue to have all my dental needs filled by him. Dr. Jereb exudes professionalism and explained to me what I needed to have done before any of the procedures and answered all my questions until I was comfortable. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great dentist who is professional and excels at dentistry!

I selected Dr. Barton from my insurance’s list of providers after we moved to Petaluma in August 2011, and I couldn’t be happier! Sadly, he found a cavity this month, after 33 years of a perfect record and I think he was more upset than I was! Now, while I never want another cavity, Dr. Barton and his hygienist were super nice for my first filling and he made sure my first time was a painless one! My 5 year old daughter also goes to Dr. Barton, and they all do great with her too! Highly recommend!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Barton’s for close to 20 years and have referred many people (from 8 to 80 yrs old) to him. While having excellent skills and tools, he is not driven by a high overhead and does not try to do unnecessary work, like many other dentists. His work is perfect, and his manner is very reassuring, too.

Best dentist I have ever been to HANDS DOWN! Great professional staff, and he has the steady hands of a surgeon. Also incredibly knowledgeable and informative about the work that needs to be done. I have never left a dental office with whiter teeth, I would trust this doc with anything that needed to be done.

I’ve been going to Dr. Barton for many years and I have always received exceptional service from him. He knows what he’s doing, is very calm, and listens carefully to my concerns and questions. He was recommended by another great dentist I had in Marin (Dr. Jason Herschleb), so when we moved to Petaluma in 2001, I started going to Dr. Barton.
I take my kids to Dr. Barton, too, and they LOVE him and love going to get their teeth checked. As a parent, one important goal I had for them was to establish a positive association to dentistry at an early age in order to grow into adulthood with no fear of dentists. So far, so good!
Also, I recommended Dr. Barton to a friend of mine who is VERY PICKY about dentists. She has extremely high standards and is very critical of them. She has been very, very happy with Dr. Barton and raves about him any chance she gets.

From the chip in my son’s front tooth, fixed in ½ hour to look PERFECT, to what I thought would be painful work on rotten teeth (me) to fixing my partial while I sat in a chair, Dr. Barton is gentle and careful and explains what he is about. I totally trust what he says and does.
