Christie and the team work with students K-​12. We do a blend of tutoring and homework help so students feel more confident at school.

Main Areas: Reading, Writing, and Math (through Algebra 2)

Additional Subjects: Study Skills, AP History (World & US), and AP English (11^th & 12^th)

Test Prep: SAT, ACT, SSAT, HSPT, CAHSEE, etc

College Planning: College Search & Application support

Consulting: Special Education (SST, IEP, and 504), WIAT III Academic Assessment, SMALSI Assessment

History

Established in 2009.

Christie Johnson created CJLC in 2009 after working both as a classroom teacher and tutor. We focus primarily on reading, writing, and arithmetic, but students are encouraged to bring any homework to session.

We are pleased to work with students K-​12 in shared and individual sessions. All sessions are one hour long. Students may chose to work one day a week, two days a week, or several days a week.

As we have grown, we expanded our team to include Special Education Consultation to help families understand the process as well as IEPs and 504 plans. Since 2013 we offer Academic Assessment using the WIAT III.

In 2013 we expanded to a larger office and moved to the west side of town. We thank everyone for their support and are excited about the growth to come. We are thrilled to be part of a great team.
