The menu is good, points for varity. How they stay in business with their Prime Rib dinner special is amazing. But I am so glad they do. The atmospher is a tad bit upscale but you can see travelers sitting next to dairymen, construction workers and professionals. They have a full bar and a great wine list. Melanie Gooler was my waitress, she is an amazing young lady. She took just as much time with me as she did with her 3 other tables and I was dining alone. I was also pleased to see managment step in to help on the floor as they were under staffed. I highly reccomend The City Limits, ask for Melanie. You will not be dissapointed.

Wow! Who knew!!! We came in for dinner on a Friday night. All four of us had the prime rib. Honestly the very best prime rib that I have ever had! And I am a foodie! Husband had the clam chowder and really liked it. I had the salad, simple and very good and fresh. Service was good but they perhaps needed one more server. We are going to head back for fried chicken on a Thursday.

While visiting in Sonoma County, we enjoyed 2 meals here. Thursday evening Prime rib special. $ 9.99 soup or salad, potato choice, veggies, beverage, ice cream. such a great deal and very tasty too. Today breakfast special.$ 5.99. 3 choices. Egg breakfast, bread tastes homemade and just great! Our server Sherry did a great job… Efficient and just the right amount of friendly:)… Very pleasant! 4 stars because overall very clean but the window sills and wooden blinds need cleaning. We sat by the window. We will definitely be back… Good job y’all keep up the good service and great food.

I really like this place. Menu is amazing and it was such a find. Main reason being I started playing poker, and boom, lo and behold there is this really awesome restaurant there too. But gamer or not City Limits is great. It’s busy at times so sometimes there’s a wait but came in for a few bfast specials today w the kid(great value!) and service was awesome. Cheers to Natalie! Come here, bfast, lunch or dinner(prime rib is a fave) and you will enjoy it. «All in» on City Limits.

We’ve come here thru the years for lunch and dinner. If you’ve read my reviews, you know I tell it like it is. The menu is great, prices are reasonable, and they all care and listen — something hard to find nowadays. Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, no music blasting, just a happy yea every now and then from the card room side. I wish them well. Compared to that noisy, smoky monstrous thing up the hwy, this place is nice and I can see why players return.

We have been going here for some time ~ usually for the Prime Rib dinner. The price is right, at $ 9.99… I’ve always had great food, good service, and if something is not right, they will fix it for you. It’s a place worth going to… any night of the week!

From 1 – 4 stars. I can’t be mad at a place with ten dollar prime rib, even if they pull the bait and switch sometimes. Can’t beat this deal

The prime rib dinner, the one on the promo is worth trying, but the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, it theft, 5 little 31⁄40 shrimp and some ketchup with horseradish in it for $ 10.00, not a good deal. But 9.99 prime rib thats ok

Our family had Thanksgiving Dinner here last week and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. We used to come to this place when I was a kid and it was the old Sonoma Joe’s. The food and service were excellent. Prime rib was great, turkey dinner as well. Good selection of side dish options. The salad was one of the better I’ve seen(came with the meal). Décor is really nice. This place does have TV’s for sports watching, which we were thankful for even though it was Thanksgiving. Got to watch the 49ers.

I used to come here all the time for the $ 9.99 prime rib, I went last week our waitress was rude about the price change to 12.99 when I asked about it. She’s a large blonde lady. the food isn’t good anymore, bad service and food I’ll go elsewhere.

Best deal around for an awsome 3 course prime rib dinner. $ 12.99 soup or salad, I always go for the clam chowder… delicious! A melt in your mouth cut of prime rib with your choice of two sides… finally a nice scoop of ice cream. You always leave full!

The best sports bar in Petaluma that nobody seems to know about. They have a great menu and chef. The bar tenders and wait staff are professional most of the time and the manager has a lot of fun ideas for major sporting events. Happy hour is every day 4 – 7 and during that time you can get 1 dollar street tacos as well as many other options like shrimp cocktail. Their breakfast choices are wonderful and their lunch and dinner never disappoints. During NFL Sunday’s you can get these awesome little flatbread pizzas too.

My husband and I had a fantastic prime rib dinner last night. I had a dinner salad that was fresh and crispy. My husband had the clam chowder and said it was very good. The prime rib and baked potato was cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic too.

The food is pretty tasty, have no complaints. The prices are good too. The night restaurant manager(tall dark haired man) is very good and takes great care of all his customers. Today 7÷30÷14 my daughter and I went for lunch. We ordered an appetizer that came out with the sandwiches and sides. arrrgh ! Also the waitress forgot an ‘extra’ my daughter asked for. Halfway through the meal she remembered and asked her«Did you still want such n such?» She should have apologized and said«I’m so sorry I have for gotten to bring your such n such, may I still get it for you?» She was short with a blond ponytail. She could use a little more training.

Dont bother calling ahead to make sure they have prime rib. The host will confidently assure you they have plenty. Overrated prices crappy service boring basic food.

This place was really close to our office and wanted to give it a try. The restaurant is a lot smaller than it seems from the outside but I walked in during lunch time. A few people there but I stood there for a few minutes before someone sat me down. Decided to chose the buffalo wings and rib eye steak since I was getting reimbursed, why not? A waitress took my order and got me my drink. A few minutes later the buffalo wings came out. It was ok for 8 bucks and there was a few pieces on the plate and it seems like it was $ 1 a piece. The Chicken was fresh tasting and it came out with blue cheese and ranch dressing. My entrée came out and it was fresh off the grill. The steak was really tender and tasty but the bread was mediocre and that’s when I last saw my waitress. She never came back and refilled my drink nor asked me if the food was good. I did noticed another waiter at the next table was making sure his customers were happy by refilling their drinks and asking if everything was ok but not my waitress. I actually had better customer service at a Denny’s than I would here. The next time I saw her was when my check came and I wasn’t pleased with the service. I expected more from this diner but I was disappointed.
