This is our second time here to pick up sandwiches and salad to bring to the beach. Tasty and delicious. My husband both had build your own sandwiches and the pasta salad with feta. Yummo :)

I’ve been here a couple times since Butter & Eggs. Love that they have wine/beer and picnic essentials. The pastas are good too. I used to work in a deli, so I’m really picky about bread being good, and to me that is their downfall. If you have really good bread– a sandwich will taste that much better. Otherwise, friendly staff, great location and choices!

I was pretty underwhelmed by Cordoza’s. First, the place seems too… empty. There are lots of lovely tables and chairs and some gourmet, picnic foods for sale but there just doesn’t seem to be enough available to really feel like a great deli. It seemed stark, sterile and not very welcoming. Second, although I was in at an odd hour, and there was but one other customer, the three employees seemed really stressed out. But, I would have dealt with all of this — no big deal — for a great sandwich. But, no luck here. Both of the sandwiches I got — for me and a friend — were a little boring. The bread was spongy and unremarkable, and there was just nothing great about either. A roast beef sandwich with horseradish should be delish, and hard to mess up but it was bland and uninteresting. We both ended up throwing out the second halves of our sandwiches. Look elsewhere for food, atmosphere or service. Cute deserts, though I didn’t taste them.

I went here with a group of friends today and while they all got sandwiches I got a prepackaged salad. Eating the salad I thought it tasted a little bit old — the sliced cucumber was mushy, the apple was a bit brown, but — it wasn’t terrible — until I started eating the strawberry and saw that some pieces had mold on it. I returned the salad without a hassle. They made me a new salad and refunded me(without me asking). The new salad was fine other than the sliced apple still had the«Washington» sticker on it. I wouldn’t go back.

Wanna give a shout-out to this great little place. On my way to an event, I stopped by and had the best sandwich, ever. Great service and very friendly servers. Will be back.

Fabulous food with a fabulous staff! I have had the pleasure to not only enjoy both Cordoza’s deli and catering cuisine but I have been able to see them behind the scenes suppling food for 100 – 200 person weddings. I am a local wedding producer and I’ve seen my share of caterers and food vendors. Recently they produced an excellent and delicious display for a 150-person buffet and were on schedule throughout the evening. They kept us updated on the status of dinner and made sure the timing was perfect. Their catering staff were very efficient in setup and clean up and even handled an issue with the cake cutting ceremony keeping the cutting and serving seamless to all the guests and most importantly, the bride and groom. I expect the above out of all vendors I work with, what separates Cordoza’s is their attitude. Their staff is phenomenal to work with and were possitive and enthusiastic, even in the most stressful of moments. This is HUGE in the wedding industry because there are certainly times when people MUST work together and a «can do» and positive attitude ripples out to everyone. Then there is Bonnie, the owner and manager, who in the industry just shows nothing but the best. She is an incredible captain and has a personality that keeps everyone with a smile. She was well versed in the day’s event timeline was a pleasure to talk to every time we conversed. In fact, I can’t think of a single time I wasn’t either smiling or laughing out loud when I left the kitchen. I wish all caterers had food that matched their service. With Cordorza’s, it’s nothing but the best.

Bonnie, the owner, and her staff are so cheery and friendly! Her deli and catering service carry excellent ingredients. I’m so happy that they have Mama Beretta’s gluten-free multi-seed bread. Their sandwiches, salads, cookies and soups are so scrumptious! Bonnie makes all of her own catering foods. She has a great passion for cooking. Everything she makes wonderful. My husband loves her meaty lasagne, but her vegetable pesto lasagne is also amazing. I have a lot of her catering, and I have never been disappointed. She is flexible and will work with you to come up with a menu, accommodating your dietary needs. Her family also has a small vineyard and winery, and she offers bottles of her wines in her café and with her catering. Recently Bonnie as opened up a space in her kitchen to Sweet, a gluten-free bakery. Jill makes amazing lightly sea salt-sprinkled chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate chip cookies, carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing, vegan chocolate-iced chocolate cupcakes, cardamon crumb cake, rosemary cornbread, and morning glory muffins. Her items that are vegan or dairy-free. Bonnie told me that Jill also bakes fantastic baguettes that have really nice flavor and great textures, nice and crunchy on the outside with a soft airy inside. She also makes beautifully decorated custom cakes in various sizes and flavors. They look gorgeous!

Love this deli! I have eaten there multiple times: I have had the breakfast burrito, breakfast platter, #1 lunch sandwich, and my regular lunch item now is the Cobb Salad. The food is so fresh and the portions are perfect! They have a nice variety of side choices and drinks, as well. I enjoy having meetings there; the staff is friendly, there is a lot of space, and it is bright inside. I am so happy to have found a great locally owned establishment to eat at regularly!

Came here with my Honey for lunch Sunday. Ordered a BLTA with sprouts instead of lettuce + a side of fruit. $ 7 just for the sandwich. The girl helping us was sweet and was kind enough to put extra kiwi in my fruit cup order. The rest of my visit went downhill from there. While waiting we observed the other 3 employees not doing much of anything– one went as far as to «look busy» by wiping down the same counter over and over again. The girl taking our order also made our sandwiches which meant the wait was much longer than what it would normally take me to make one at home. When I did receive my food, it was thinly sliced tomato round and a little avocado. The bacon had a chewy quality to it so when I bit into my sandwich, the whole blob of bacon came out and became a mess I ate by picking pieces off my plate. The deli had one radio station(pandora, maybe?) playing alternative and the employees had one hip hop station playing at the same time so it just made the experience a tad bit on the annoying side. I left this place disappointed and confused as to why Unilocalers missed the mark. The price does not equal the quality. You can easily find a better sandwich elsewhere.

Came here with high expectations from the other reviews, but left a little disappointed. The one girl that helped us was friendly and patient… the other employees just kind of walked around joking and talking while she did all the work, which inherently caused delays in the orders. Also for some reason they had two stereos playing different stations at noticeable volumes which was kind of distracting and annoying. I went here specifically to have a good reuben, but it was merely ok. I wasn’t too impressed. The meat was very chewy to the point I couldn’t bite through certain portions, and the the sandwich seemed a bit on the small side. Also wasn’t too impressed with the rye they used. Very thinly sliced, and could barely taste that rye flavor. Good selection of drinks and chips available though.

My go to place for a casual lunch meeting — bright and sunny with lots of great food. Many items are home cooking, not the commercial stuff you get at 90% of the other delis. What more can you ask for? Friendly service? They have that covered too!

The fact that this deli has Mama Baretta’s bread for us gluten free people gets Cordoza’s an immediate 5 stars in my book! Take that with their UBER friendly service, delicious offerings, and mouthwatering local pairings, makes Cordoza’s a must for any hungry people in the Petaluma area. They are centrally located in the theatre district, and have a great array of 3twins ice cream, local bagged snacks, and gourmet goodies for all palates. I love their grilled cheese sandwitches, and seriously, if you haven’t tried the gluten free bread, you should. You’ll be glad you did!!!

I will admit — I am biased since Cordoza’s is less than a block from my apartment, but the friendly staff, quality ingredients and PERFECT cup of joe keep me coming back. They really do have the best coffee I’ve found in Petaluma and when combined with their free wi-fi, I can’t think of a better place to set up shop on those days I tire of working from home. If you are lucky enough to come in when they have their pancakes on special, they are amazing, but everything else on the menu will also please your palate.

This is no ordinary Deli! Not only is their food great, and they have very creative sandwiches — but they have the BEST customer service! Bonnie the owner personally greets people and wants to know her customers. Her team is ultra helpful, and the place welcomes you to come in, sit down and enjoy(maybe even a glass of wine)! We have also used their catering services — great food, great prices, great service — even for picky eaters!!! Call Bonnie — you will not be disappointed.

My BF left his heart here when he ate their brownie. We stopped in one rainy day for a cup of joe, on our little downtown petaluma shopping and was greeted by one of the friendlist people we have ever met. We had coffee, and our brownie and headed out on other adventures, but awesome deli atmosphere, and I can’t wait to go backk and try the other things on the menu!
