Specialties
Green Building Architects works to reduce the impacts of construction. We design residential and commercial projects to become more energy efficient, have a healthier indoor environment, lessen impacts on natural resources, and last for many years with minimal maintenance. Whether it is an historic rehabilitation or a new contemporary structure, we help your building to look like it belongs on your site and not cost a fortune to live in. We have been doing this for over 25 years.
History
Established in 2004.
I became committed to sustainable design after planning and designing interiors for Fortune 500 companies in Los Angeles. Initially trying to get contractors to separate recyclable materials from the land fill dumpsters, I worked to show clients how better projects effected their bottom line. Moving to northern California in 1998, I found a residential market receptive to green building. I established Green Building Architects in 2004 after relocating to Petaluma and to better reflect our working principles.
