I just had a wonderful massage and facial from April. I also like that she uses fragrance free products. I didn’t need to worry about my sensitive skin. The spa was super clean, relaxing and great prices! I will be back!

I received a Groupon from my sis for my birthday and I finally decided to redeem it. After reading the reviews here, I was a little nervous but I figured that it was a gift, so I wouldn’t be out anything (besides a tip) anyway. I had the first appointment, so I was a little early, which was the same time April, my masseuse arrived. I waited while she set up and noticed everything looked pretty clean and organized. First I had a foot massage, which was great. Second, the body massage and finally the facial. Each lasted about 30 minutes and all were very relaxing. This isn’t your typical fancy day spa, but it is also 1/3−½ cheaper. I feel it is definitely worth the money and a great substitute for the fancy place if you are on a budget! Don’t believe the negative reviews, you won’t be disappointed!

I am a firefighter and was called out to the recent major fires being battled in Northern California. I was called out late at night and lost cell reception and was unable to cancel the appointment I had scheduled with this spa based off a groupon. I called the first opportunity I had and explained in a voicemail what had happened and that I would call back to schedule when I was home from the fires. I was out of reception for several days and finally received a voicemail from the spa telling me that they had already rescheduled me for a date that had passed by the time I heard the voicemail.
When I called to reschedule and explained what had happened the woman rudely told me that they are business and that I would not receive my money back or any devices from them, regardless of why I missed my appointment or that I had not scheduled the second appointment for myself.
I’m not asking an advantage as a firefighter but a little understanding would go a long way. I will definitely boycott this rude and unprofessional business.

Went here for the foot rub/​neck combo. It was perfect for me. Nice firm pressure, over the clothes so you can go right back to work, and super friendly. The owner gave me my massage and it was great. This isn’t like a traditional full body massage just the feet and neck/​shoulders with no oils on the neck and shoulders but you are in a private, clean room and is 100% worth the $ 30ish for an hour of relaxation!

I had a wonderful experience at this spa. The owner April provides a healing and relaxing experience. If you are expecting a dermatology clinic, go to the dermatologist. If you want relief to stress at a good price, go here. You can’t get a massage, facial, and foot reflexology at this price and quality anywhere else. It was not only convenient, but wonderful. I was not counting minutes because I felt completely pampered. I made sure to tip well as they can’t possibly make a huge profit on these reasonable prices. The facial was noninvasive and she used gentle products that were nonabrasive, hydrating, and had a natural, pleasantly-​mild scent, not of perfume or chemicals but of a cucumber /​avocado type. If you don’t like the pressure of the massage, she is easy to talk to and encourages feedback. I felt very comfortable to speak or say nothing at all, never felt so relaxed & at ease in a spa. I liked it all and was pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was for the price. I would rather go to a local healer I can afford on a regular basis than a fancy high-​priced spa. I am a nurse and very particular about sanitation and I can assure you they meet & exceed all criteria in hygienic standards. It’s unpretentious and excellent quality. I will go here regularly.

Very poor experience. bought Groupon package, big mistake. Took almost 6 weeks to get appointment. First she scheduled regular customers, then walk ins, and what’s left goes to Groupon suckers. «Foot massage «hurt, but practioner could speak no English. I had to gesture, but she still didn’t get it. Owner complained about expenses and glared at me when I pulled out a credit card and not the cash she preferred. I felt rushed, as a «regular «was following me. I would never return or recommend. I know you get what you pay for, but this was ridiculous. It’s possible that if you pay full price, it could have been much more pleasant.

I have been getting weekly massages for years, In Petaluma. A friend referred me to April at M&W, and just had my third massage there today. The Spa is impeccably clean, very comfortable and very quiet/​serene .
April Is excellent at deep tissue, and foot. I highly recommend April and her SPA.

Have you ever left a spa and felt you needed a shower? That was my experience today. I’m trying to choose my words wisely because I want to explain exactly what happened.
My husband purchased a groupon deal for my mother and I. I had low expectations for this place after seeing the reviews, but things were worse than I ever expected.
My deal included a 50-​min massage ($ 50 value). What I got was a 25-​min massage. A massage here means a dry rub that gave me skin rash and a lot of elbows in my back. She used a rough towel to rub me down. She used little to no lotions/​oils to massage me, and not to be mean or picky, but her hand had callouses and scratched my body. I tried to communicate with her that she was hurting me but she responded «no English.» How can I communicate my needs or desires if we literally can’t communicate! I had surgery 2 years ago to take a tumor out so my stomach is sensitive. She didn’t understand when I asked her to be more gentle.
20-​min facial ($ 45 value) What I got was a 20-​min cream rub. She applied a lotion on my face and left me in the room alone for 10 min. (check my pictures, the bed I had to lay on was dirty.)
Reflexology treatment (a $ 15 value) What I got was a foot rub, that was the best part of my experience. Not because it was good but because it was the best of three evils.
Location is not hard to find. It has a private small parking lot but parking is terrible. Once you enter the spa it looked to me like a place where someone would ask, «Do you want a happy ending with that? «Immediately I started taking pics and when the owner noticed she started cleaning up. The bathroom had no hand towels and a questionable toilet paper. (Have you ever seen toilet paper after it dries?) The room was dirty, the bed looked used.
Service was ok, only two girls worked there, the owner and an employee. They were both nice, just inexperienced and unprofessional. Maybe with training they could become a respectable Spa, but as for now, I would neither go back nor recommend it to anyone else. Prices are cheap but at this point you’ll just be giving your money away. The mall guy will give you a better massage than this place.

Enjoyed a 90 min treatment which included a massage, a facial and foot reflexology. We will go back soon!

Pleasantly surprised! I’ll admit i was a little hesitant to visit here bc of the reviews –but I couldnt hold myself to completely judge based off of a few bad Unilocal opinions. I was experiencing some terrible soreness in my trap/​shoulder area and Lucy gave me the best sports massage i ever had!!! She educated me about reflexology and it was really nice chatting with her! I look forward to going back!

I have been to all of the foot massage places in town, I like foot massages. For those looking for a «spa massage» this is not what you get. For $ 50 what do you expect, a decent massage with towels — they are all the same. I happened on here last second, they took me in as a walk-​in.
The Good: (I should say Great)
For the Foot Massage, this was the BEST «real» foot massage I have ever received from any place! $ 25.00 and I had at least 30 minutes on my feet, with great pressure. I noticed the gloves, and thought it was odd since no other place used them. She briefly explained why, which I understood and it did not take away from the massage at all. April, the owner, gave me my massage and I found her friendly and knowledgeable — and booked my wife an appt for the next day. I will be back for sure.
The Bad:
It had to end, after foot massage and body massage I was bad it was over. Everything about this was good, but the fact it had to end sometime.
The Ugly:
Since there is no place that is perfect, I look for something that could improve. Only thing I would think is she may need to train more people because from the sound of it is is her and Lucy.
Summary:
I don’t usually add this but after visiting at least 6 different $ 25.00 «foot massage» spa’s this is now my favorite. Many places I have been too it rarely is the same person a few months later. With April, it seems like she has been there for awhile (based on reviews) and it is here business. She is very proud of what she has done with it, and it may look a bit odd from the outside but inside everything is nice. I would not pass on this lil gem.

This place was absolutely terrible. I bought a Groupon, and thought I’d treat my daughter to facial, massage and reflexology session… bad decision.
I made our appointments a week in advance after reading other Unilocal reviewers comments — still waited over 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment. Everything other reviewers have said about the massage are absolutely true… brief oil massage, and most of the brief massage was conducted with a scratchy towel, and lots of elbow digging. The facial — conducted in the same room (I was told to just turn over!) — was mediocre at best. No extractions (which might be a blessing, actually) and April actually finished off my «facial» with a generic drug store brand (CVS) moisturizer. Nice. Everything previously said about the «reflexology» was true — a generic Vaseline foot massage — and absolutely nothing more, with plastic gloves. Nice.
April admitted as we left that «Groupon takes half the money, so we don’t make any money» — and that is why she didn’t use a «special» oil for my super tight neck muscles. Again — nice. Our appointment had been scheduled for 5:30, but we didn’t actually start any treatments until almost 6:00, and we were out the door at 7:15.
Not a good experience, and we will never go back. Not a deal, even by Groupon standards.

Don’t waste your time and $ here. The woman on the phone told me I need to book my appointment at least a week ahead. I began with a foot soak then I was supposed to get reflexology, instead a woman put on some rubber gloves and slathered generic brand vase line on my foot when I tried talking to her and explain that I was supposed to get reflexology she claimed she didn’t speak English. I was ready to run out right then, but decided to see if the rest would be better. My facial was a bunch of products slathered on. Some in my eyes. Last the massage, consisted of a lot of elbow digging, rocking and slapping. I wish I had read the reviews before going there because I would have skipped the whole horrible experience.

Came in for a body massage and facial… Wow, what an awesome place! The owner April does an amazing job! can’t say enough good things!

By far the worst massage I have ever had in my life! My friend and I stopped in yesterday because we live in downtown Petaluma, and I had seen the intriguing $ 50 for one hour price tag. I feel like I might have injured in my lower back yesterday from the rough treatment. To begin with, a large scratchy towel is place on you, and a majority of the massage takes place without oil. Instead – the elbow grinding begins with no warm up period. OUCH! The whole experience was really bad. I at least got a good foot massage out of of… sadly, my friend did not. (Also, my friend’s door was left open the whole time during the massage as if the therapist was afraid she would need to call for help). I am bruised today on my arms and feel more tense than ever. Most definitely will not go back!!!

I wish i could give this spa 10 stars! !!! I have to admit, I was wary of trying a new salon… u never know what you are going to get these days. But WOW!!! This woman, April is her name and i will not be forgetting her name, as she is a miracle worker! From the deep tissue (i opted for deep as that’s my personal preference) masaage, where she effortlessly pin pointed all the areas I carry steps to the reflexology that helped me beyond belief… to the relaxing and heavenly facial… This was an experience I am so grateful for and will DEFINITELY be recommending to all my friends who pay outrageous amounts of money for rude service and half decent services… that this is the spot!!! If u want to relax, if u love your body and care about its health… i encourage you to make an appointment with April and let her know it’s your first time there. She will treat you like the queen u deserve to be treated as and i guarantee u will leave smiling… The amount of toxins that were released literally blows my mind. If u are reading this april… THANK YOU! It’s jasmine, with blonde hair. I luckily found you on groupon (which is always hit or miss) and thank goodness… you are a HIT! Thank u more than words!!! And I am sorry that other salon owners are writing bad reviews for their own personal gain… that’s really gross as a fellow human being and they should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t worry! I feel like I’ve been to a very relaxing foreign country. Today, I took advantage of a Groupon at this small spa in Petaluma, run by a vivacious Chinese woman. My skin is honestly glowing from April’s facial, and Jack’s massage was the real deal. He used to coach Olympic athletes in China! It felt like I was a whole wonderful world away. Highly recommend taking a trek to this place.

Sorry, I was very disappointed & will share my experience! I bought a Groupon for $ 55 which includes a 50 min massage, I got 30 min, just on back & legs. The towel I was laying on had been used previously, you can tell by the wrinkles. The facial was nothing special, she put stuff on my face and left the room, this would have been a good opportunity to do the reflexology on my feet & then have a full massage. The massage techniques are similar to those at the cheap reflexology places, they mainly just push down on you with pressure. Interesting to read that others enjoyed their experience. I must have high standards! Yes you get what you pay for!

Came here on vacation from So. Idaho. My sister surprised me with a facial and massage. Wonderful facial! The best I have ever had. The spa is very clean and beautifully decorated. The prices are well worth the services! Very pleasant staff and helpful. Definitely will return here on my next trip.
