Very good Sushi but the service was not so great. The greeter told us it was a 45 minute wait, that ended up being a 1 hour and 45 minute wait. She and their other greeters need to be more honest on the wait time. The actual server was unfriendly and slow. But if you want good sushi at a good price, it’s a good place to eat.

Since moving to Cali just over a year ago, I’ve tried many Japanese restaurants. My search is over, this place is great. The menu is everything you’d want at a Japanese restaurant and the prices are reasonable. It’s by far the best tempura I’ve found in the area and the sushi is always tasty!

Having been a satisfied customer here for several years, I am sad to say, no more. My friend and I had the AYCE lunch today. Our rolls were all served on the same large platter. Fine. Oddly, friend’s rolls were smaller and more compact, the way we usually get them. Mine, on the other hand were triple the rice and loosely packed. I pointed it out to the waitress since I spent a lot of time pulling rice off of each piece. I pointed out the difference in size of the rolls. She hemmed and hawed and finally said that there was a new sushi chef on today(3 chefs total). The newbie had made my rolls and friend’s roll was made by one of the other two chefs. When I started to unroll each piece of my rolls, I noticed that there were no slices of fish, only bits and scrapings. The avocado was over ripe and nothing tasted very fresh. Even our tea arrived hardly lukewarm, had to be brought back with hot water. Our tea never arrived until we had to inquire about it. I could go on and on, but no need. For $ 20, I was very unsatisfied. No adjustment was made or offered to us. I hope I don’t get sick tonight. Very sad to see this happen.

My cousin suggested this spot as I’m a never recovering sushiholic! Whether I’m going to sushi paradise with my family, boyfriend or colleagues, the staff is always sweet and greet me/us with a smile. Excellent customer service well worth a 20% tip. Sushi paradise in Petaluma is significantly smaller than the one in Rohnert Park. Both locations promptly seat you at your table. The only thing negative I can say about paradise sushi in RP is that the miso soup is always watery and the wait time to speak to a waitress is so HARD! I only come to sushi paradise for the limitless sushi /buffet as I’m a girl who enjoys more than just one roll. I usually order the miso and salad… Then after I get those two settled in my stomach, I order the spider crab roll, yummy, ceviche & the paradise roll! These rolls are your go-to’s and an absolute MUST! I’ve had sushi @ Sausalito’s sushi ran which is supposed to be the best sushi in the Bay Area and sushi paradise is just as good. Sushi paradise doesn’t have much of an ambiance and it gets loud ! Overall sushi paradise is a great place for those of you who are looking to enjoy sushi and a casual time. Dress comfortable and loose clothing… You’ll leave with money in your pocket and a full stomach.

Awesome for sushi but let me be clear about what kind of sushi eater i am: 1. I dont eat raw fish so if youre looking to this review for deets on the quality of that kind of sushi, cant help ya. 2. I only ever eat one roll, and rarely finish it. What i CAN tell you is this place has All you can eat for lunch and dinner, so you can get your fill for probably the same price youd pay at a regular joint to get the same satisfaction. That said, my Paradise roll was delicious and my hot sake did exactly what it was supposed to do. Great local spot!

These GUYSROCK. The owners are a 4 or 5 brothers lol I don’t even remember anymore. I met them when I was working setting up business accounts and they are just exceptional people. Hardworking, trustworthy and honest. It is reflect it in the service they provide and the love they bring to the art of sushi. Flavors are great! service is just right, Price is Exceptional ! and quality is good. I could go for better quality in the fish but I would be paying DOUBLE hahaha. Good place to bring the family and enjoy good food.

Waited for a table for an hour and fifteen mins after being told it was a 25 min wait. Had a party of 6 and watch hostess sit party of 4, instead of putting empty 2 person table next to the 4 person table. We would leave, but no other sushi place is opened. Thankfully the food made up for the wait, which earned the stars.

What? I haven’t reviewed this place!!! I have been here a lot. It’s GREAT. High quality fish, nice variety of things, good service, and the all you can eat is REALLY awesome for big groups! Literally the ONLY reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because when you are with a big group getting all you can eat they don’t take into account what a specific person may have ordered in comparison to the rest of the group?(maybe they need seperate cards?) so my food always ends up coming last for some reason! While everyone is eating I am sitting there waiting for the rolls I ordered. One time people ordered so much other stuff that they shared with me while I waited that I ended up not being hungry by the time the stuff I personally ordered came! Anyway, been here with small groups too and gotten less food and never had a problem. I love this place, some of the best sushi in Petaluma.

Okay this place is seriously great. I was really skeptical of all you can eat sushi because 1. How good can the fish really be, and 2. It’s in Petaluma. But I gotta say I’m glad I took a chance. The quality of the fish is pretty good, but it’s the all you can eat value that keeps me coming back. Everything here is reasonably priced and the all you can eat option really allows you to get a taste of their menu without having to come back multiple times to try their rolls at full price. I recommend coming here with more than one person in order to try a variety of rolls. The wait time can get super long(45min+) so come here at a non peak time if you can.

I get skeptical about AYCE sushi since most places I’ve been to haven’t been very good. However I can say that Paradise Sushi is one of my favorite restaurants in Petaluma. I love that their rolls do not have tons of rice in them(most AYCE sushi places will have so much rice on the outside, that you end up getting full really quickly). They have some really tasty rolls(I recommend the Ceviche Roll and the Petaluma Roll) and their food is fresh. For dinner, the price per person is $ 25, which I think is definitely worth it if you’re really hungry. They also have a regular menu with a wide selection of choices if you don’t think you’ll need so much food from the AYCE menu. They are almost always busy when I come here. The longest I’ve had to wait was around 40 minutes for a table for 2; and it doesn’t help that they don’t have much seating or time limit for the AYCE. Their service is good. The waitresses are generally attentive and friendly. However, one thing I have noticed is that the food comes very slowly. I’ve been here a handful of times, and it has taken 30 minutes or more for your first food item to come(and I’m not talking about the miso soup or salad). So if they are really busy, take into account the wait time for your food; I wouldn’t recommend eating here if you want something quick or if you are on a time crunch. Overall, I love the food here and would definitely recommend it if anyone wants some yummy sushi and Japanese food.

It’s hard to expect much from an all you can eat sushi place in a strip mall so I didn’t have high expectations when I came in for dinner. While the service is fast and friendly and you have many choices for the all you can eat sushi it seems to lack anything special and all the rolls taste pretty similar. The calamari appetizer is basically frozen calamari rings refried that you could buy at Safeway. You can always opt out of the all you can eat and order off the menu which for some might be a better option since 24 $ a person(includes salad and miso soup) can be a little steep if you aren’t very hungry.

Delicious fresh fish. All you can eat lunch. Wonderful friendly service. Love the beautiful sushi bar. I had the spicy scallop which was delicate and mouth watering, the Petaluma roll which was decadent and delicious, and the Golden California which is a more naughty version of the classic California roll. My husband said the salmon and tuna were both top notch and flavorful. YUM!

The all you can eat is one of the best reasons to come here, and the way it’s laid out is pretty efficient and well done. The fish was fresh, the sauces tasty, and the non sushi items were really really good too. We have been a few times, and the food is solid, I think only once, there was an item sold out on the menu. The staff was nice, quick and efficient. No fault of their own, the other people who were also dining were less than pleasant to sit at the bar with, and caused the servers some grief, complaining about their food, and some of the items they ‘didn’t realize’ were in their rolls. The staff smiled and were very gracious. Sometimes there is an odd bleach smell when you first walk in, although I’m beginning to suspect that it’s coming from outside, and their door is just opened which carries the smell in.

I have been here twice now and this place does not disappoint! It’s good for what it is! I suggest not ordering too many fried rolls at one sitting because I thought the fried rolls got too overwhelming after a while! My friend ordered the hand rolls and she was very satisfied with what she got The«all you can eat» menu also include miso soup and salad!

So I have been here on over 20 occasions and I do not know why I haven’t left a review yet!!! For an «all you can eat» sushi place you’d think the sushi would be mediocre but ITSNOT it is top notch! And where are you going to find all you can eat sushi around Sonoma county anyways? We always have excellent service and tonight was no exception. Catherine was our server and she was very pleasant and even helped us figure out which option was cheaper, a la carte or all you can eat. You MUST go here!
