I grew up in Petaluma and graduated from CGHS in 2000. I have worked a total of five jobs from food service to manual labor to driving cars and forklifts. I have been in the RDS industry for over ten years and am excited to be bringing the Petaluma Food Taxi to life.

Do not use Food Taxi!!! Today, I called and asked for a New Yorker half cheese and half pesto pizza. Food Taxi called me and said he didn’t think they made half cheese and half pesto… I said, yes, I order it all the time. When I opened the box, the part that was half pesto had no cheese on it. I called Food Taxi and told them what had happened and the woman INSISTED that her husband had called and I had told him no cheese… I would have never said no cheese. She kept repeating over and over again «I don’t know what to do…» so I said, can I at least have a coupon for ½ off? And she said, «No, I can’t do that… my husband said he called.» I told her I would never use her service again, and then she thanked me… wtf? Is that the way to run a business? What ever happened to the customer is always correct? It’s much better to be good to your customers and do what’s right than to risk a bad Unilocal review like this. I will never use Food Taxi again and I urge you to either be EXTREMELY specific with your order if you do. You want to stay in business, you treat your customers with respect… I paid him a huge tip too. Terrible business, terrible manners.

I’ve been ordering from Petaluma food taxi for over a year, probably 1−2x per month consistently. It’s simple, quick, and efficient.
Today a new driver couldn’t find my house, I totally have a weird address and they called me to figure it out and reroute to my house. I figured food would be a little cold but like, I’m an adult. I know how to fix that. But above and beyond they comped my order.
Customer for life!
The new driver was super friendly and sweet (congrats on the job Cameron)
The only thing I wish is that they would add a few more restaurants! Pongos would make a great addition.

We love Petaluma Food Taxi! It’s easy to order, delivery is fast, and they update you via text message throughout the process. We have been using the Taxi for Mi Pueblo deliveries, but this past week tried Namaste Kitchen. DEEElish! My only suggestion is that they locate more restaurants willing to participate in their program.

Love the service that the people provide. Just order online or call in of what you want. Simple as that. The food will be delivered to you. The food comes warm so it’s not cold upon arrival. I do wish there would be more restaurants to choose from. However it’s easy and convenient. Will continue to order food when desired.

Accurate, fast, considerate and reasonable. I love these guys. You can get text update son your order, label entrees in your order so everybody gets what they order and you can tip online so you don’t handle the awkward receipt signing at the door. LOVE these guys.

Wow wow wow! So good!!! Just ordered for the first time and we are hooked! My boyfriend and I are delivery fanatics and eat out at home a lot. We are so stoked to order from them again! Our dinner from flamez arrived super fast, super hot, and great customer service as we requested some special notes. The owner called us to make sure the order was correct which was really nice since we ordered online and you never know… thank you! We will see you again soon!

Awesome concept! I know someone in town did this many years ago but it’s so nice to have the delivery option with places who don’t normally deliver! I work from
home so rarely get lunch out! I ordered MiPueblo and it was just like getting it to go but I didn’t have to leave the house or even use the phone. Easy online ordering process, accurate delivery time and hot food upon delivery!

I came home late and exhausted to an empty refrigerator. I didn’t want to leave the house and couldn’t decide on Chinese or pizza delivery –neither seemed appealing, so I decided to look at some menus on Unilocal for inspiration. I was so thankful to find Petaluma Food Taxi. Their website has menu links to several local restaurants. I clicked on the link for Shree Indian, clicked to choose my dinner, then entered my information, and my food was delivered piping hot in 20 minutes. So easy, definitely worth the $ 5 delivery charge.

LOVE this service!!! Our family uses PFT about once a week. It is reasonably priced, and the customer service is excellent.
Imagine this. Just got home from work. Tired. Don’t feel like cooking. Who do you call? FOOD TAXI! In our case we log in, place our order, and usually within 30 – 40 minutes it arrives at our door steaming hot!
Their website is great. You can set features like text and email notifications for options ranging from when the order is placed, to when your food is on it’s way. It also remembers your favorite items from any restaurants you have ordered from.
Give PFT a try! It’s sooo worth the small delivery fee!
