Rust & Shine is a brand new home décor and gift shop with a perfect mix of handmade art and crafts and up cycled, used and vintage furniture and décor. We are passionate about anything handmade and are proud to carry the work of various local artists, including jewelry, art and photography. We are also passionate about preserving our planet and offer gently used furniture and décor made with reclaimed materials. We believe in reusing, re-​purposing and creating and strive to make that show in our shop.

History

Established in 2015.

Rust & Shine is owned and run by couple Jenny and Gabriel. They are both creative and dreamed of owning their own business and that is how Rust & Shine was born. It’s a place where they get to use their creativity (Gabriel makes cork boards and furniture from reclaimed wood and Jenny makes jewelry, among other things), work with other artists and provide customers with gently used furniture and home décor.

Business Owner

Originally from Sweden, Jenny came to California in 2009 to study. While in school she met Sonoma native Gabriel, fell in love and ended up staying in the U.S. They now own and run Rust & Shine together. Jenny has an Associates Degree in Studio Art and loves creating — anything from paintings to bouquets. Among other things, you can find her handmade jewelry at the shop.
