History

Established in 2014.

Sandy Magid of Marin and Scott Stroud of Sonoma County have recently merged their practices to create the firm Magid Stroud Accountancy Corporation, APC, with 2 locations. The firm operates offices in Novato and Petaluma employing a staff of 8 including 4 CPA’s. Both offices work together to benefit clients with their combined local knowledge while maintaining our local presence in both Marin and Sonoma Counties and surrounding areas. Our clients include individuals and businesses in a wide range of industries including construction, entertainment, retail, wine, professional services and agriculture.

Business Owner

Scott Stroud is one of the founding partners of Magid Stroud Accountancy Corporation, APC with over 21 years of tax planning and consulting experience. Scott has served clients in all phases of the business cycle. His clients include closely held companies and high net worth individuals. Scott’s clients are primarily structured as S Corporations and limited liability companies. In addition Scott’s approach to client services is to address tax planning in a proactive, integrated manner by addressing the needs of business owners so that planning opportunities are fully optimized.

Scott’s industry experience is vast and includes construction, land surveying, agricultural, professional services, manufacturing, engineering and legal. In his free time Scott enjoys coaching his son’s baseball, basketball and football teams. He is active in CYO, Petaluma National Little League and The Boys and Girls Club. Scott is a member of the AICPA and SCA.
