Itzak even made a special visit to discuss the project with my contractor and tile guy, to make sure everything would go smoothly. The beautiful Pental Quartz Counter is installed and looks awesome! I started my search 5 weeks ago and thought I was going to use a local vendor (NorthBay Stone Works in Novato). Don’t bother… Believe it or not I’m still waiting for their estimate.

This is our second time hiring Shabo Tile and Stone. They currently are installing granite countertops/​backsplash in our kitchen. Shabo Tile and Stone listen and they and their workers are not only conscientious, they are very polite! Everybody communicates and makes sure that every granite piece fits «perfectly»! If you are in the market for having granite or any tile/​stone installed in your home/​business, I highly recommend Shabo Tile and Stone. These days, it is hard to find any business that really cares and shows up; Shabo Tile and Stone will and their workers love what they do!!!

In 2010, I hired Shabo Tile & Stone to assist my husband and I with our guest bath remodel. We had demo’d the bath ourselves (5 months earlier) and needed design ideas as well as talent to put it back together. Itzik and Heidi proved not only are they visionaries, yet highly practical when it comes to materials, but they are also extremely pleasant to work with. They provided excellent recommendations on materials that would work with a natural stone flooring I selected, and as an added bonus, Itzik is an authorized representative of Nu Heat so we also installed heated floors. Being our first interior remodel project that my husband and I had managed, we «designed as we went» and Itzik was patient with our novice decision-​making. Overall, the job went superbly, we got the bathroom we dreamed of and it likely helped sell our house in September 2012.
Fast forward to October 2012 when we moved to our new home, and we once again chose Shabo TIle & Stone — this time for a kitchen «replacement» — new counters, sink, range, dishwasher, fixtures and backsplash with refaced cabinets (refacing by others) and fireplace refacing. Heidi again was so helpful with the material selection, and even directed us to Echegurian in San Francisco so we could get a single slate slab for the hearth. Itzik installed Caesarstone counter tops, a new sink and faucet, and repaired some shoddy work on the range and dishwasher installation done by others. He installed Island Stone cladding on the fireplace surround with the slate slab hearth, and advised us on some additional design details that really made the fireplace look fantastic when complete. Finally, Itzik and Heidi both recommended the Oceanside Glass TIle backsplash, and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. Itzik’s assistant, Jorge, was also great to work with on the installations. Both Heidi and Itzik communicate well on the business side — change orders, special orders, budget status, etc., on the work execution, and with design suggestions.
Finally, I have to say Itzik is one of the most exacting individuals I’ve met — he won’t tolerate anything less than perfect. When you hire Shabo Tile & Stone, you can trust the job will be done right and at a reasonable price.

We have hired Shabo Tile to do each of our bathrooms with great results. Materials and craftsmanship were outstanding. Superior willingness of Itzak to work through the ups and downs of these remodel projects. The team took care to remember there was a family living in the midst of the construction and tidied up and left a usable house each evening. Rare, but a mark of their professionalism that was visible throughout the project.

I had researched what I wanted in my kitchen and then shopped around for a company I felt comfortable doing business with. Heidi and Itzik of Shabo Tile & Stone were the perfect choice. Heidi was extremely helpful in advising and helping me find the hardware, sink, faucet and granite I was looking for. She also suggested places I could go to look at the various items. She helped me purchase the perfect piece of Costa Esmeralda at a fair price. Itzik measured, fabricated and installed the granite, tile, sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. I saw first hand what a difficult process this is to make it perfect — and Itzik and his team did a great job. Itzik and his team always arrived on time, delivered the completed on time and were always professional, friendly and always cleaned up at the end of each day.
I would highly recommend Shabo Tile and Stone. Their pricing was fair and their work beautiful.

Heidi and her husband are fantastic! They really care about their customers and are a joy to work with.
While I’ve never bought stone or tile from them, I did have an all around terrific experience with them for the heated floor in my bathroom. Shabo is an authorized dealer of Nuheat products.
When I first contacted them, Heidi didn’t have the mat size I wanted in stock, so she referred me to an authorized dealer closer to me in SF. So incredibly refreshing and thoughtful — trying to ensure I got what I need in time for my construction project! Well, the SF place didn’t have it either, so I called back, and Heidi ordered it for me. She even gave me a discount, since I had to pay extra for the special order shipping. Everything arrived when she said it would and was ready for when they finished the bathroom floor.
Just recently, the electrician finally installed the finishes including the switch for the heated floor. I thought the switch was defective, so I called Heidi right away and she connected me with the Nuheat rep and even offered to have her husband call and troubleshoot with me. Embarrassingly enough though, it was user error on my part for the programming, and boy am I glad it was!
An all around super experience from Shabo Tile & Stone with Heidi and her husband being super responsive and thoughtful the entire way. If I lived closer to Petaluma, I’m sure I would be a regular client!

Shabo Tile and Stone installed our granite counters and glass backsplash in our kitchen last November. They were professional, friendly, did a fabulous job and had great prices. I was under a deadline to get everything done before Thanksgiving and they were able to complete the work just on time. I tried getting quotes from other local tile shops and I had a difficult time getting them to call me back and work with me. Shabo was great and I’m happy with thier work. I met with them this morning to give me a quote on doing some tile floors in our two bathrooms!
