I moved (again!) and was happy TJ could fit my little job of rehanging the flat screen TV plus all of the other necessary doodads for computers, printer et cetera into his busy schedule! He’s super friendly and I’m thankful to know TJ!

There are no words to describe Tommy and his service other than Awesome. He was the only person I got a quote from that was genuine, professional and respectful from the start. From there he came in and help us utilize existing equipment in our home, walk through all our needs and then troubleshoot when it came to installation because our other existing equipment was interfering. He gave free advice and did what he could to ensure we got the best options for the best price.
He could have up-​sold us like other quotes did, he didn’t have to use our existing equipment and he surely didn’t have to help us make all our other items work together (that was out of the scope of what we were paying for) but he did. because Tommy is Awesome! Couldn’t recommend him more.

Okay, I should have written a review when Tommy came out to my rental home to set up our system in our rental. We had just moved from Los Angeles to Petaluma. He was better than awesome: professional and friendly, hard working and patient, thorough and neat. So then when I called him to do work on our newly purchased home, I was so bummed because he was booked, but Tommy came through with a solid recommendation.
My new place of employment needed audio and stereo programming, so I immediately thought of Tommy. My good fortune when he said ‘yes’ he would be able to come out and set the senior citizens up in our community room. Again, Tommy was knowledgeable, gracious, efficient, and oh so kind. He’s a real hi-​tech guy AND personable and humble. What a refreshing combination.

I bought a new projector and was excited to get it mounted on my ceiling. Tommy came by and gave me a free estimate. I really appreciated his excitement, energy and creativity. His team did a killer job on the installation. The AV quality and workmanship are superb! I hate wires hanging around, so I especially loved how neat and cleanly everything was installed. Looks super professional!

Tommy and his crew came by our new house this past week and installed a TV over the fireplace for us. Something we always wanted to do but I was hesitant to do it by myself. Tommy, Chris and Brian came to the rescue and did an extremely professional job. The wife and I couldn’t be more happy with the job they did and we will refer them to others every chance we get. Thanks Tommy!!!

I hired Tommy to come and permanently wire in 4 surrounds speakers in my living room, to complete a 7.1 setup. Brian and Chris, who came and did the install, were nice, and very professional. They did a fantastic job, hanging the speakers, concealing the wire behind the wall and I couldn’t be happier. If you need any home theater or home automation services, I highly recommend them.

Our home had an existing surround sound system and a media cabinet filled with the old equipment left by a previous owner. Then we came along with new TVs, a BluRay DVD player, Apple TV and Comcast with their DVRs. Of course, every device had its own remote so it took three to just watch TV, four if you watched a DVD. And, to top it all off, it turned out that the old wiring didn’t work with the new TV (no HDMI cables). In addition, we wanted to add additional speakers inside and out.
Now, I’m not a Luddite, but I cannot be called tech savvy, either. My husband is pretty good with all this stuff, but time and patience were in short supply. So, thank the media gods that we found Sonoma Tech, TJ and his band of merry media mavens.
First, to my delight, they listen to what you want. I appreciated that they responded with real words instead of techno-​speak (for me) and my far more technical husband was happy to delve into details. Second, they came up with a plan to do everything we wanted — hanging the TVs, installing all the equipment, adding ceiling speakers in other rooms, providing control using either the universal remote or an iPad, cleaning up the «spaghetti» of cables into a neat, labeled and manageable system. Third, the did what they promised. Now it’s simple to manage sound inside and outside. The remotes are easy to use. We even added some lights that can be operated remotely. And TJ is always available for questions and trouble-​shooting. He and his team are extremely capable, reliable, polite, fun and a genuine pleasure to have around. And his service goes above and beyond.

Tommy did his second job for me this past week, again it was an excellent and professional job. He hooked up my Bose system, speakers and all the components. he was able to hide all the wires and make this a professional job. Tommy is «My Guy» when i need a job done right, clean, fast and professional. I will call him back for my next job.

You get what you pay for! We got a quote from him two years ago for a whole home sound system… after sticker shock we shopped around and discovered not only is he competitive but knows his stuff. Two years later we looked him up again… we were ready! TJ was great working within our budget and very creative with wires and storage solutions! He’s always willing to come back and answer any questions and really made the sound system seamless!
3 years later, he’s still great as we have upgraded certain things (like blurays), always kept great customer service and support.

TJ is a terrific guy — utterly polite, good sense of humor, very modest — who is very skilled at identifying his customers’ needs and recommending/​installing an appropriate home theatre and sound system.
The electrician who designed the original system in our new house installed a HDMI setup that was incomplete, impossibly complicated and would not sync with Comcast. TJ proposed equipment that was appropriate to our needs and budget, provided a very thorough and fair bid, and then stuck with his quote despite having to spend quite a few additional hours correcting the electronic mess he inherited.
The end result has been excellent. Now, thanks to a first-​rate universal remote and TJ’s «cheat sheet,» everything works as it should, including easy switching among input sources and regulating of sound volume in different rooms. TJ understood that we are not that sophisticated as to home electronics, so he programmed the universal remote to prevent us from accidentally undermining his setup.
On top of his high quality workmanship, TJ has been terrific in calling back promptly whenever we contact him with any uncertainty about how to work things, such as dealing with on-​screen notifications about equipment software updates. Tony O’s review is spot on.

I had Tommy over today just to program my remote and he did a fantastic job setting up all of my equipment to work on my Universal Remote. He also fixed a problem I was having with both my sub woofer and my new receiver. He is great at trouble shooting as well as a great resource for purchasing all of your audio & video equipment. Very friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely use him for all of our electronic needs.
