History

Established in 2012.

Phillip’s interest in bodywork began 8 years ago with a friendly suggestion from a friend that he study massage.

After a year long trip to Indonesia, he decided to make it his full time occupation and graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR in 2012. In 2014 he moved to Hancock, NH with his wife and 2 children and couldn’t be happier!

I’ve seen Phillip several times for upper body pain concerns. His Anatomy and Kinesiology knowledge base is very impressive and without that you can’t be an excellent body worker! Great communication, quick to return phone calls and easy to make an appointment with. His work was very helpful and he reduced my pain significantly with the body work and his home recommendations.

Phillip was awesome and I will definitely be back before long. It’s gentle but firm, a very hard balance to strike. In the past when I’ve gotten a massage I wasn’t really sure what I was paying for but with Phillip that wasn’t the case. He has a gift for feeling into the body and addressing what you have happening.

Phillip Malone is an excellent massage therapist. He’s actually curious and interested in the human body, and takes the time to really connect to his clients. He is always interested first and foremost in understanding the issues actually going on in their bodies and then addressing them directly and indirectly through massage and movement.
Phillip himself is also an excellent mover, and knows how to use his body in many different ways, and in my experience body workers are always a lot better when they themselves use their bodies a lot! So he has both the physical and the intellectual understanding in his own body and nervous system, and he uses that in an extremely intelligent approach to help his clients.
I’ve gotten many massages in my time, and Phillip might not give you the most relaxing massage, but it is quite likely to be the most useful one for your needs!

Phillip is a powerful healer. He is able to attune immediately into where the source of discomfort is and works with focus and care to bring you relief. If you are looking for relaxation message then you have come to the wrong place. Phillip is a massage therapist who is interested in helping you for the longest terms benefit. He is not interested in having you come in every week for a year but helping you get to the source of the problem. Phillip also has a deep knowledge of the body and is able to give exercises that will help you continue healing after the session.
I could not recommend him more highly.
