History

Established in 2005.

A Cleaner Chimney started as a company called, Piedmont Chimney in 2005. Robert was 18 when he started his business and later Piedmont Chimney became «A Cleaner Chimney». The name was changed to become more «universal» and not just subject to one area, «The Piedmont». We hope to oneday expand into other areas in the US who could use our professional services.

Business Owner

Robert started his company when he was 18 years old with the help of his father in law, Greg Melang. Greg, a former chimney sweep of Carolina Chimney Sweeps taught Robert all the foundations of being a successful chimney sweep and business man. Since starting his company he has grown personal relationships with his loyal customers and strives to be the best sweep around town. In August 2011 Robert made arrangements to become trianed and certified in becoming an Air Duct specialist by NADCA. In 2012 Robert went on to open another chimney sweeping service in Boone. As our clientelle grows, so do we! We look forward to meeting new people and building everlasting relationships with our customers!
