Austin’s Park

Giving two stars was very hard for me here. We used to come to this place a lot more often, made it a fun family day out with the 11 and 15 year old. Then had a new baby so have not been here for a year! and wow in a year has this placed changed! I want to point out first that while there are many reason for the two stars review the major one is this
* they no longer have the buffet on weekdays! *
This would not be that big of a deal if I did not feel misled, and to that point I guess if I read in great detail the whole website I would of known they stopped having the buffet but only in one small section of the website and it’s very misleading everywhere else! (see my photos attached and tell me what you think)
Other cons–
There is nothing for you 2 – 3 year old to do here and I mean nothing! If they added a simple play yard or something for little ones that are too short to ride their rides this would be great!
Everything needs a good cleaning, I just make my kids wash up well after but could see people compliant here.
The new non buffet menu is pricey vs their competitors. And no free refills on drinks… Come on $ 2 cokes no refills. After charging $ 25 to get in really?
There were not enough ride operators kids had to wait to ride bumper boats for over 15 mins and not in like just for someone to let them on…
They added a bar with mixed drinks to the place to me this is not needed in a kids joint. Beer Is one thing hard drinks a totally different thing with the limited seating in their «new eating area» kids were all sitting at the bar … Right next to other adults ordering mixed cocktails.
Pros–
This is one of very few places in Austin area that offer unlimited play with go carts and stuff
Older kids could play for hours here.
The unlimited go carts and laser tag are great for teens
You can come and go as you wish. They give out wrist bands go play. Leave eat somewhere else come back and play some more…
Personally I will not be coming back here as log as I have a little guy with me who has nothing to do here. And won’t bring my kids during the week any more as the value is now gone from this place it’s no longer a one stop for a day out that does not break the bank.

Awesome place for my little ones to go and have a bday party. Lots to do and cost is affordable. Definitely going back.

So much fun! Mini-​golf, a climbing wall, bumper boats, lazer tag, go-​carts and beer? Yes please! It’s pricey, but you could spend all day there, so it’s worth it. Ok, the pizza totally sucks and I don’t even understand how you can make pizza bad, but oh well. Eat before you go and if you get hungry you can always give it a try.

Wow! They have bowling! And a new menu!!! Quesadillas were super yummy! Luke was super nice and a great server, he was very nice to my 7 year old son!!! We will be back next weekend!!!

Okay for younger kids. This place is squealing five to eleven year olds. The bowling is truly for tweens with shoes that won’t slide and floors that are truly not for the shoes they have. The cost for games is outrageous. The Laser Tag is one level without proper space to properly protect yourself. In the end, I would not recommend this for anyone other than Children or teens.

The atmosphere isn’t that great and the employees seem clueless on how things work at this place. I would recommend people doing some research on other places that have similar entertainment before going to this place…

This place was absolutely pathetic.
The pizza was horrible. They allow adults to drink then become disruptive and unruly. Do you really need alcohol at a children’s place? Really?
Quite pricey for for such a ran down, nasty place. Save your money and go downtown and do something else.
Close this place down!!!

Had a birthday party today for our son which included bowling, laser tag, rock wall & game cards. Location was recently remodeled. It was awesome! Bowling lanes are really nice. Laser tag was fun but the wait was really long due to being so popular. The manager Roxy assisted us with our party. She was great. Very attentive to all of our needs.

Thanks to Jessica (event planner) and to everyone at Austin’s Park and Pizza yesterday for an awesome company holiday party! We had 27 employees show up and each one of them had a blast! The new bar and grill area was a huge hit and most of us, if not all, will be back in the future! The renovations have really made a huge difference and I suggest stopping by if you haven’t been there since they renovated!
Again, thanks to all the team last night and to Jessica W. who was outstanding at planning the event that was a huge success!

Great place to bring the whole family and enjoy a full menu with great choices of food, drinks and dessert. No more buffet only choice. A big portion space has been completely re-​done to make it a delicious gastro and fun experience!

Had a staff party here the food was OK the go carts were super fun the batting cages or a little outdated did not do the golf course the games were a lot of different variety it looks like they’re building a bowling alley had a little construction going on. Had a lot of stuff for the little kids small roller coasters and different types of amusement park rides. My kids liked it a whole bunch The manager Jim Leonard was great very nice and very helpful. Thank you for making our experience a good one. Will go back.

Best indoor/​outdoor park! Reasonably priced for all games and buffet. Laser Tag is awesome! We’ve had our Christmas party here two years running an will make it #3 this year. Something for all ages. Just keep in mind that the arcade games require a game card. Most games are under $ 1. Prizes are cheesy but kids will like them. Great staff and always someone nearby to help.

I’m sorry, this place was a rip off. Its open until 11 pm but pizza and soda stops at 8pm… I paid $ 25.95 for each adult and my 6 year old for in unlimited pass… not till only 8pm… and few workers are rude with earphones in… super disappointed!

Pizza was decent, better than I was expecting. $ 20 is not bad but Only downfall was the arcade was extra. they have bumper boats, rides, mini golf, and much more! I give it 4 stars because cleanliness wasn’t the best. They have a bar though!

This place seems to have a pretty bad wrap. I’ll admit I see a few of their points but lets break it down…
Cons:
Everything is sticky. It’s filled with kids and soda though so i can’t say i’m surprised.
There are broken and/​or worn down things. The go karts need some serious work.
It’s freaking expensive.
One of the staff members smelled like BO so bad it’s was gag worthy.
The rock wall also smelled… funny. Not good funny. Bad funny.
The «Vegetarian Pizza» had chicken on it… thats…not.vegetarian…
If your kiddo is 1″ under the height limit it’s at the discretion of who every is running that attraction to let it slide or not.
Pros:
Our kiddo was 1″ under the 40″ height limit but because there were so few people there they let it slide every time (to be fair as parents we stuck to him like glue. He’s only 3)
They have a toilet stall with a toddler potty. As a mom, this was a big win for me.
They have several things that shorter kids CAN do.
The staff were really nice, young, but nice.
A staff member took the time to help my tiny three year old drive the Safari Go Karts. She was so patient and kind with him. It warmed my heart.
It wasn’t crowded. Not a single line. Maybe 20 people there total. (Thursday evening)
The pizza wasn’t terrible! 5 star, no. But it was good.
Unlimited arcade games with a «green» light was included with admission.
Are they expensive? YES. This place is too pricey for the condition of the «attractions». It also needs to be scrubbed really good. This is obviously a problem with management/​owners. They’re not putting money back into the place.
We had a gift card so we only ended up paying $ 55 and we defiantly got our moneys worth but we likely won’t be back. The cost vs conditions just aren’t worth it.

We celebrated our son’s 5^th birthday here this weekend. I was a bit nervous reading some of the reviews and had low expectations going in, but I ended up being very happy with this choice of locale.
First of all, for reference, other popular party venues around the area (Thinkery, etc.) charge similar rates for parties ($ 20/​pp). But here all your food is included (for the entire day) as well as rides and 2-​hour gift cards for the arcade for each kid.
Let’s talk about the food. Was it Michelin level? Of course not. But it wasn’t bad, either. Several of our friends, after taking a bite of pizza, were remarking about how surprisingly good it was before going back for another slice. The mac and cheese was also a big hit. I spotted no brown lettuce.
Sure, they ran out of ice mid-​afternoon, and sure they had trouble keeping up with bussing dirty dishes. You have legions of kids helping themselves to food and drink for 12 straight hours. As a patron, you either just go with the flow or prepare to pony up major $$$ for a place that can hire even more staff. One area that I wasn’t pleased to see more clean was the restroom. I would be sure to have maintenance make regular rounds there every couple of hours.
As for rides and games, we had the party on the day of a major freebie event held at the park, so the lines were looooong. We made the best of it and took a break to go home midday. When we returned around 6pm the crowds were much more manageable. We played putt-​putt, rode the go-​karts and played several arcade games, plus had two meals and snacks, the use of a party room and assistance from a staff member for an hour, plus several little bday freebies, all for a great price.
As a recovering Pinterest addict (haha), I am currently trying to seek out situations that are easy and low-​stress that allow me just to relax and enjoy my life. That is what Austin’s Park is all about. Thanks for a great bday!

This place has the worst salad and pizza I have ever had. The prices are outrageous! The pasta was terrible and though the baked potatoe was not awful, they had generic sour cream and cheese… no thank you!
The rides were fun. The ice cream was almost $ 10.00…We spent, scratch that, wasted $ 100.00. Lesson learned-​never again.
The one star is a gift!

I feel like everyone who has written a crap review of this place has Disney land standards, in a town that really doesn’t have any theme parks at all. If you are a kid, this place is cool as heck. Not a kid here looks bored, and I’d be hard to even find an adult who isn’t looking around longingly wishing it was them running from ride to ride…
For $ 25 you get food and rides. You can’t even go to a carnival and spend that little now days. Is the pizza the best ever? No way. But name a kids pizza place where you go for the food? You don’t. You go to entertain them. You go to make memories. You go so they will stop watching tv. You go so they can stop saying «mama mama mama… I’m bored». You go… To see your kids smile.
Disney tickets are over 100 for a day. They can afford the extra service and attention to detail. This is Austin people, and really you are limited on where you can take the kiddies!
I’m decently happy with spending a quarter of the price, to bring my kid to a place where she can burn some energy. For what it’s worth. The place is done pretty nicely. Nothing like that I had as a kid. Sure ZDT in Seguin is a slightly better option. But it’s 40 mins away.

Holy sweaty, sticky, overcrowded, germ-​infested cow Batman.
This place is just like the ones from my childhood, except three times as many people in the space as there should be. No clear presence of anyone who actually works there, other than the ride attendants and the people behind the prize counter.
Although they offer an array of things to do like games, go carts and mini golf, there are too many screaming (seemingly parent-​less) kids running around to even think straight, much less navigate the place.
The heat level alone from all of the hot bodies is enough to wish it over.
But the buffet of guess-what-you’re-going-to-catch-today food is atrocious. Witnessed multiple (again, seemingly parent-​less) kids under 6 grabbing food right from the trays in the line.
At one point there were no plates or cups. Looked like the zombie apocalypse. If the kitchen can’t keep up, maybe there are just too many people being let in at a time.
This is obviously the place to be if you live in Pflugerville, are under 16 or have kids under 16. I thought CEC was bad.

I have been here many times, but finally decided to «check in» and review; and it was not impressive.
We brought the kids in on a Friday and it seemed sparse in accommodations for the prices that you pay.
The limited pizza and pasta and salad items provided could have been better and fresher. The dim lighting does not make it appetizing at all.
I know that they are there to provide a family «one-​stop» fun place and location, but it just seemed worn out and the staff was struggling to keep up. We were there about 3 – 4 hours trying to do all that we could. We wished to finish off the night by getting a last minute drink and it seems that they cut off the beverages at 8pm? So we opted for water to quench our thirst.
Overall, we were able to have fun and did our best to get the most from our money spent, but I will look for a better choice next time. I feel that we almost paid amusement park prices for the whole night (including arcade games) and simply got the playground experience.
