El Pollo King

Just bought 2 whole chickens for my family tonight and everyone loved it! My kids were licking their fingers. I absolutely loved the wood grilled flavor and spices they used. The chicken was a good size too, other pollo asado places skimp you on the chicken. It came with great tasting rice with bits of tomato, charro beans with jalapeño-​so good, grilled onions, lime, and large soft warm corn tortillas not like other places that serve you hard cold tortillas. Also, came with 3 types of salsa, red, green and a roasted one, all mild but then again I eat salsa everyday with my food so to others may be medium. So happy I don’t have to drive into Austin anymore for pollo asado! This food truck is hard to find, it’s right at the curve on FM1825 in the lot of a tire repair shop, under a billboard. And it’s cash only. Almost forgot, the young lady at window was very nice, it was really cold outside and she told me to wait in my car and she’ll take my food to my car. Great customer service! :-)
