Rip off, Very bad experience,
Brought my car for an front air shocks replacement because they car started getting lower over time. That was done but the mechanic Manuel said the problem was the air pump. The purchased the air pump and it was replaced and all worked. The next day I started to hear clicking noise every time I turned the wheel. I brought the car back in and the lower arm control need to be changed (about $ 1200). The parts cost quoted are for over $ 800. I looked the part on line and and both arms cost was at about $ 350. So I wanted the mechanic to confirm the parts for me before ordering online and I was disappointed. He took a glance and told me that the look kind like it (he is not sure). Kept on asking but no one can assure me. Anyway, here is where i have a problem with. First The lower arm issue never felt until after the place worked on my car. But the main problem I have is that in the process of having my car repaired I got charged a total 4 hours of just diagnostics that is $ 360. I have never seen this anywhere. This such a rip off.

The first time I came here, the machine took my money. The second time, it took my money and the pressure was non existent. I could’ve put my finger over a garden hose and got more pressure. I won’t return.

Theft of personal property on 3÷10÷2016 during vehicle inspection.
The inspection took about 30 minutes. When the inspection was complete I got back in the vehicle and realized my sons $ 150 headphones were missing from the center console. I had just told him to put them in the console when I parked at the shop. I checked the entire car in case they had been moved by the tech for some reason. They were gone.
I then went into the shop and told the manager about the missing headphones. He checked with the tech that performed the inspection– that went nowhere. I asked the manager what their policy for missing customer property is. He said he didn’t know and was not being helpful at all given the situation.
Not knowing what else to do I decided to call the police.
An officer arrived a few minutes later and investigated. As expected, the headphones were not found and no one admitted to taking them. I filed a report with the police officer and left.
What should have been a quick errand turned into a life lesson in trust for me and my family.

I stopped in to get my seats washed as they were filthy due to my kids climbing in and out of my SUV. I was greeted right away and the staff wasted no time getting to work. The seats turned out great and Chris was able to get out the heaviest of stains. Great service!

I went here a couple weeks ago for an oil change. Everything seemed fine until I told them that I had prepaid for the oil change online, which is $ 10 off. They took my car back and then came to tell me that there would be a $ 10 charge to remove the plate under my car to change the oil. I asked why, seeing as I’ve never been charged extra for that anywhere else and that should obviously be part of the service. The man was rather rude and stated, ‘it’s our policy’. I felt that they were being dishonest, so I told them I would like to cancel the service and get a refund. They then proceeded to hassle me about a refund. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here! As others have stated, they’re just trying to nickel and dime their customers!

I came in today to KwikKar Wash early this afternoon, MANAGER CHRIS was very helpful and gave me a great deal on a detail… and I’m sooo happy on how quick and clean my detail was… and I DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK…

I went to Kwik Kar a few days ago for their $ 69.99 interior detail. The manager offered to do a special car wax for an additional $ 10 and I agreed. Two hours later, my car was declared finished. It was starting to get dark so I hopped in and left to go to HEB. Once I sat down inside, I could see wax in several spots on the windows. I did notice that when they were working on my car that they cleaned windows first and then did everything else. The result, wax smeared on several windows. Once at HEB, I decided to look in the back seat. The purpose of doing the interior detail was that I had spots on the back seats. When I checked the back seat, the spots looked identical to when I first arrived. I started looking around more and found some trash on the floor that should have been cleaned up when they vacuumed. I forgot to remove my phone mount that clips to a vent. It was completely mangled when I got back in. I wouldn’t have been surprised by that but the vents still had dust on them so I’m not sure what the purpose of attacking my phone mount was.
I did go back right away to have them fix the problems. The guy who had done the interior detail shampooed the back seats to remove the stains. As for the rest of the issues, I decided to just take the loss and view this as a learning experience. I’ll go elsewhere next time.
My advice for anyone else going here is to carefully check your car before you leave so you can ask for them to fix anything that wasn’t done correctly. Also, allow plenty of time and bring something to read or do because you’ll be there waiting for quite some time.

Got a $ 32 car cleaning across the street at 1704 Pecan St. They didn’t clean the car doors or the middle console. When I complained the rolled their eyes and were rude.

Craig was amazing, did great work and did not try to sell me work I didn’t need. I would recommend taking your car here for good, honest service. THANK YOU!!!

Went in for a state inspection, was told I’d need to pay $ 30 MORE just to clear foggy headlights, otherwise I’d fail inspection. Another guy in the waiting room was told the same thing. A few other people have said the same thing here. Look, just pass the inspection or don’t, don’t threaten to fail us «unless we pay more» for whatever services you’re trying to schlep. Will not come back to this establishment again.
Avoid this place if you just want an inspection, they’ll nickel and dime their way through your wallet.

Unilocal removed the original review I did of this business. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The car wash scratched my husbands truck up and refused to acknowledge their machine did it. The management refused to compensate for the damage. There are better places in pflugerville to get your oil changed and have your car washed. Mr. Clean up in round rock is a great place to go to.

Ironic that these guys are called Kwik, when they are anything but quick.
Brought in my minivan for a wash on a Saturday. When I pulled up the attendant said it would be about 45 minutes for the wash and basic detail. I thought that was a little ridiculous, but since there is a McDonalds right next door I decided to take the kids over there to kill some time.
So after eating lunch and letting the kids play for a while (it had been about 40 minutes) we head back to pick up the car. When I asked the attendant how the car was coming along they said, «oh, it will be another 45 minutes.» What!?! Well, I didn’t want to make a stink about it so we waited in the waiting room.
Another 45 minutes passes and I ask another guy if he can check on my car. He says, sure, but then NEVER comes back. Several times I asked the girl at the desk what was going on, but she just said they were short-​handed that day. No apology. Obviously my kids are very restless at this point.
All in all we ended up waiting OVER 3 HOURS for our «kwik» wash! Goodnight! If you know you’re going to be short-​handed don’t lie and tell people it will be 45 minutes. I will not be going back.

The manager called me and did the work that I needed. That was nice, these guys obviously pay attention to Unilocal reviews. Not sure if I will go back, they have some people working for them that have no idea what they are doing.

As soon as terry found out about our experience at his shop he investigated. He determined the problems and went to remedying them immediately. We talked and ended up taking our car back to finish repairs. We couldn’t be happier! His team did a thorough job and took good care of us and the vehicle. Our Prius is back on track! This last experience is exactly why we sought him out in the first place and why we will be back in the future.

Ok, I’m lowering them down to a 1 star. I asked my wife to stop in and grab the inspection. I knew my car would pass and it did but they did try to get her to change the extra safety brake light that on the window for $ 100 bucks. A $ 100 bucks to change a bulb that took me 2 minutes and only cost 4 bucks at auto zone.

I found this place to be ultra efficient! I was greeted by a very friendly staff and had my car immediately in for its service with no delay. My oil change was done in record time. I had also requested a tire rotation. I was also informed that my F150, which had been to the local Ford dealership 5 days before, needed work on the brake rotors for which the Ford dealership told me they had already done. Ford had not touched them. They even took me in the shop and showed me. This showed me respect unlike the way the Ford dealership had treated me. You also get a free carwash with your oil change!
They have a customer for life.

I’m not sure why this place has so many «not recommended» reviews, considering that the majority of those reviews seem very accurate, fair, and describe the experience that people are having.
My elderly mother took her car here for a «tune-​up» which ended up costing her over $ 900 as these charlatans took advantage of lack of knowledge about car repairs, Unilocal,or car repair scams.
When she took her car home, it immediately started smoking — and OF COURSE it’s not Kwik Kar’s fault or responsibility to fix, but they could fix it for another $ 150.
Buyer beware, going here will essentially be throwing your money away. Go to a reputable business instead.

This wasn’t my first choice of place to get a state inspection (the other one didn’t have any inspectors on site today), and I probably won’t come back here next time.
Normally, I would be happy to know of potential issues with my car, but I don’t like the pressure of a sales pitch. Especially during something like a routine state inspection. I didn’t get the feeling that they really cared about my car (or me really), and were only interested in making a sale. It was kind of funny to see every single service rep come into the lobby and tell their customer that «there was something they needed to show you». Makes me wonder how many people end up going with their recommendations?
The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. Two stars because they did get my inspection done in about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning.
