2 in One Cafe

Wanted some breakfast food and didn’t feel like leaving the house. There wasn’t much to order from around here so decided to try 2 in One out. Great decision! I got the 2 eggs, toast, meat, and home fries combo which was only 6 bucks. Delivery time said it was going to take more than an hour but they came in less than 30 minutes which was incredible. The food and delivery time was so fantastic, I will definitely order from them again.

2 in 1 is an interesting addition to the neighborhood. They provide a traditional American style breakfast menu and a chinese food menu for lunch and dinner. The place has 2 or 3 tables for eat in as well as take out area. The menu is limited but enough on there to find something to eat. The prices are a tad higher then other places but the food was not greasy, so I am willing to pay extra for that. There is also no bullet proof glass like some takeout places in the area, I don’t do business with those places. I will be going back and trying more things out

2 in One Café is a new spot in Germantown that sells American style breakfast and Asian/​Chinese food the rest of the day. They are located on Wissahickon Ave across the street from the veterans building.
It is a new, clean and bright spot, and the breakfast is good and solid with no surprises. The Chinese food is ok, mostly noodles, which I love. When I visited the spot, it was being run by two Asian women who were very nice and eager to please the customers.
It’s not like Chinatown, so I had a rough time ordering food that wasn’t on the menu. For instance, I wanted to order the chow fun noodles with a satay sauce with choi sum in a dry sauté. Well I may as well have spoken to her in German. She didn’t have a clue about anything I was asking.
Good news is that they deliver! It’s the only restaurant in our area that delivers Chinese food.
So I will continue to work with them on variations of their menu, but in the meantime, I will enjoy having Chinese food delivered to my home.
