Look. I walk in twice a week and there are never any baskets by the door. Ever. Ever! Get it together acme, hipsters are the only reason I stay out of whole foods.

This Acme used to be a Super Fresh. Didn’t know it was changed until I went for a walk today and decided to stop in for some home cleaning items that I couldn’t get at Whole Foods. The store is clean and well-stocked, but the cashier had an attitude bigger than the Titanic. I got no «hello,» no nothing. I could have accepted that she was mute but the scowl on her face was ridiculous. What did I do to you? I bought two items and paid by card. You had another girl bagging my groceries. Minimal effort was required on your part for that transaction. Hot mess! I’ll only be back if I’m desperate.

A tad better than when it was SuperFresh and produce now are fresher, but it’s the same ol’ «tired products»(as said by another Unilocaler) and awful employees who don’t give shit. Who the heck hire these people? Their organic section is lacking and cost more than Whole Foods. Might as well just walk the block down to Whole Foods.

Used to be SuperFresh. Same tired products and clueless clerks. Is it any wonder why Whole Foods is kicking this store’s ass? When asked for a price check, clerks will just pull a number out of their hat!

I was so excited about the Acme taking over Superfresh that I can be quoted as saying«this is the best thing that has happened to me all week!» Between the Italian Market and Whole Foods, I realize how spoiled my neighborhood is. Enter the Acme. Honestly, I was seriously impressed with this supermarket. The produce was FRESH! Not at all what you would have seen at the old Superfresh. Prices on practically everything were slashed, and you do not need to get a store card to reap the benefits. For example, this week they are having a BOGO sale on many different types of meats. While the produce prices aren’t as astonishingly low as what you’ll find at the Italian Market, they are still comparable. I recently bought a cookie cake here from their bakery for a party and everyone really liked it. The lady behind the counter will write a message for you on any cake you purchase! Food shopping has been oddly satisfying since the Acme has opened up!
