This is my family and I’s go to grocery store. I started shopping here in 2010 and was told it was an upgraded version of Save-a-Lot(and sure enough it is). Sure there are the common grievances about few cashiers, paying for bags, and the .25 cents rental fee for a shopping cart. This location is always well stocked and the products are comparable to anything that could be found at Whole Foods and Fresh Grocer. Thanks to Aldi’s I don’t have to go out of my way to purchase tasty hummus, baked kettle chips, and whole grain bread. The items are reasonably priced within my own neighborhood.

Ok, so I bake and I bake A LOT! and we all know that butter is like the new gold. With prices at almost $ 5 for a pound of butter, how am I suppose to make a profit? This is where Aldi’s saves the day! Aldi’s is a no frills type of supermarket much like Save A Lot. I don’t care much for shopping for regular foods here because everything is heavily processed and I try to stay away from packaged foods. But when it comes to butter at just $ 1.69 per pound, there really is no way to beat that! Thank you Aldi’s for affordable butter!
