History

Established in 2013.

Chef Andreas Petrides has been a fixture in the Philadelphia food scene for over 15 years. It all started in 1998 when he was asked to help fill in at the Reading Terminal Market during the winter months. After achieving much success as a ‘fill-in”, Andreas was given a permanent stall at the market, and Andro’s Gourmet Foods was born.

After many years at the Reading Terminal Market, Andreas opened Andro’s Sweets & Treats in a Rittenhouse Square neighborhood offering all his popular desserts and pastries as well as fine Belgian chocolates and ice cream.

With this new venture, Andreas is proud to offer all his customer favorites and so much more.
