Plenty of park out front. Good selection of products and good prices. This store may not be the cleanest(could use some new floor tiles) but it’s shelves are pretty organized and the lines go quick.

Went here this afternoon with my husband to purchase an ottoman. However, I wasn’t prepared to witness the store manager humiliate an employee. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any names. The manager was looking for an employee, and it turns out he was was in the parking lot collecting shopping carts. She then started complaining loud and long about the missing employee to other employees with customers present. Then when the missing arrived with the carts in question she treated him in a very derogatory manner and directed him to do something in the store. As he was walking away she had the Audacity to start clapping and mocking him. This was horrible behavior. No one should be treated in this manner and no one who behaves like this should supervise employees.

I really like Big Lots but this one wasn’t one to love. I walked into the store and started to look at things. A staffer looked directly at me and said nothing, making it seem she was either too good or I was unimportant. It was likely apparent that I was unfamiliar with the store, but it didn’t seem to matter. Like all Big Lots, they have some good products, and they specialise in bringing international food items, and they should be commended for that. Unfortunately, they have to care to win the crowds. If you go, be sure to sign up for the savings card and remember to use it.

I’ve only been in this store a few times and everytime I go in they don’t have anything I need. There selection of anything is very limited. I once bought a table and chairs there and they were falling apart within several weeks, I thought I was getting a buy. The process of getting the table and chairs was an ordeal because the one store didnt have it so they sent me to another store. Then when i went to the other store it took the cashier up front a half hour to find the stock boy. Then when the stock bou showed up he didnt seem like he felt like doing anything. Well he finally ended up going back in the warehouse but i waited and waited and he never came back. Then i asked another sales person waht happened to him and i guess he deceided to take a break. So after his break he brought the table and chairs out. I had to take them out of the box to get them in my car. The Manager told me to keep a part of the box in case I had to return them. Well the little stools that came with this table were a complete joke. I didn’t even put them together. Well the table top started peeling after a couple weeks so I ended up taking it back after all that. So now had to take the table apart and back in the car. Glad I didn’t put the stools together. Then the store manager took 1 hour to return it while he was answering phone calls, getting change for the customers and trying to figure out how to return the table and chairs. Then I bought a clock their for my deck because it was suppose to be a outdoor indoor clock but when it was outdoors the time kept changing so I brought it in and now it works. So I wanted a outdoor clock but it only works as a indoor clock. So I do believe most of their merchandise is pretty poor quality so beware. I put pricey on their prices because for the quality of their merchandise it is pricey.

Located next to «2nd Avenue» thrift store, across the Blvd. from JC Penney’s and a long-defunct Chi-Chi’s Restaurant. Get a flare gun if you want some help in here. There’s one register open with a big line, and the manager’s tied up talking to another manager about how …”…inventory was all F’ed up and they had to send in another crew to help and how come they gave us these new crappy computers now we can’t look no prices up.“ They’re right. They can’t. Some woman found a mystery bottle of salad dressing. Last one in the universe. Let’s all wait while we try to find a price. No dice. No price? Well, hey, it’s 99 cents, OK. Now move the line before I qualify for Medicare, eh? Beyond that, they have bunches of crap that other stores have moved along. Some crap, but also a few brand names«Fiskars», «Mead», etc. in the stationery aisle, as well as a butt-load of scrapbooking stuff. Toys are crappy, and cost more than they would have at Target, and those wouldn’t be all ripped open. Some brand name foods(Emeril’s, Pillsbury) and some other stuff that I wouldn’t eat with ~your ~mouth. The usual squeezed out tube of toothpaste and/or shampoo decorates the HBA section. It you’re already parked, go ahead and run in. Parking lot was designed by architects who forgot to take their medication, and is full of crazy drivers.
