Bizini’s Famous Seafood Steaks and Hoagies

I love the food that they serve but I don’t think they give enough fish on there fish platter.

Order the Gil Special. You will not be let down. Salmon, colossal shrimp, broccoli over a bed of rice with peppers and onions. The rice is seasoned perfectly and nothing in this platter is fried or salty which makes this platter quite healthy and not as heavy on your stomach — but it is a nice big size. The owners are very friendly and will remember you. Two thumbs up.

Good place to get some cheap food. Has outdoor seating which is nice — I barely get to fine a place to sit and eat around here! Not really frequented by La Salle students, which is odd since it’s only down the street. I have not tried the fish (I’m afraid) but the hoagies are great, classic Philly sandwiches.

Always takes TOO long. Cashier is full of attitude and too expensive for the weak portions. Been here 2 times too many. I’ll cook my fish from now on.

Despite its awful location, I really like this place. I usually come here for the fish hoagies, but I’ve had bites of whatever my husband gets and it’s always slammin’. They have salmon, whiting, flounder, and tilapia and I’ve had… well, all of ‘em! I think I like the flounder the best. I know they have other seafood offerings, too, but I have yet to try them. I also enjoy their cheesesteaks and chicken wings.
During the warmer months, they make this lemonade with bits of strawberries in it. Trust me, It has a way of making the hot days a little more bearable… a little sweeter.
The con, as aforementioned, is the location. This little gem is positioned on a really busy corner and parking can be tricky. But when you’ve got a craving that you know Bizini’s will satisfy, you suck it up and keep it movin’.
