Broken carts, long lines, unfriendly people. I always regret my «quick run» to the Red Lion Rd location… Costco and Sam’s Club are by far superior. Here’s to my wish that one of them would open in the Northeast!

Okay so my review here is solely based on this club. I love shopping at Bj’s, we mostly shop at the one in Warrington because they have a larger produce area, it’s cleaner and the customer service is much better. This particular club is horrendous. First off they check your membership as you walk in? Every other Bj’s I’ve been to, whether it’s Langhorne or Warrington they don’t do that. If I didn’t have a membership I wouldn’t be there. We also belong to Costco and they don’t do it. This particular club is also very dirty and unorganized. They never have carts inside the store, again this is another issue I don’t have elsewhere. The lines in this store are ridiculous! Completely unacceptable! All of the time, in fact every time I’ve ever been there. Lastly, is leaving the store. Normally I don’t mind them checking the receipts. But if there is a line back to the registers and I have 1 item, I’m simply not staying. I’m sorry, may seem rude, but I don’t have the time. Put a second person at the door. I had a box of diapers, the guy who checks receipts started yelling and chasing me out he door. I had my receipt in hand, showed him as I was walking out. I’m not going to stand behind 30+people with full carts just so you can highlight a receipt that’s going in the trash. We roughly spend $ 600.00 a month a Bj’s and I don’t appreciate being yelled and treated like a criminal in front of other customers. We’re considering canceling our membership and just sticking with Costco. Now for the positive of Bj’s where we normally shop weekly. Our normal Warrington store has a great selection of produce and meat. The deli is great although there is always a wait. The store is very neat and organized. The one thing I love is the organic selections. In my opinion they have better selection then Costco. We will probably continue to shop at the Warrington store, if we keep the membership. Hopefully someday the Far Né store is closed or redone, with a new staff.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It use to be really good and have such a wonderful variety. Over the past probably 10 years it have been steadily declining. The variety isn’t what it used to be. Neither is the staff. Don’t get me wrong you can find some good things here but overall… Not so much. As for the money saving aspect I worked it out and you really aren’t saving much if anything. They charge $ 40 membership(last time I checked) which is ridiculous. You’d have to go there numerous times to start saving which when your buying in bulk defeats the purpose. Unless you are a business I can’t see how this really saves money. Oh and as for the free 60 day passes check your receipt it really isn’t free. They add 5% to your bill. Some shady shit there.

Just went here for the first time after receiving a 60 day free trial. Upon registering for a trial card the sales clerk of course tried to sell me a membership on a discount rate. I declined since I only set foot into the store for the first time and it was for less then 5 minutes. My husband and I are coming up on the end of our sam’s membership and contemplated renewing, or opting for bj’s or costco. Since BJ’s is closer of the three we decided to explore. The only good thing I can say about BJ’s is that they had a much better toy selection. They did have more or an organic selection then Sam’s which is a major plus, however definitely not nearly as much as Costco carries. BJ’s felt dirty and unorganized almost like I was at Walmart. Looks like they were doing some sort of remodeling when I was there which may have been the reason for the mess. They barely had a meat department, and the meat I saw did NOT look like should of been for sale. You can see the rotting of the beef. GROSS! Walking through the isles I did notice a decent cheese variety. However, the cheese seemed to be in a cooler that once contained meats. Therefore, I couldn’t find a price on anything. Every sticker indicated a price on sausage or pork, not the feta cheese price I was looking for. Needless to say I am now a proud Costco member. I drive a little further, but I feel more comfortable knowing I am getting quality goods at a good price.

I’m here almost weekly because of the bulk products I buy for the family. I have noticed that they are increasing their variety of organic products which I have been buying. If you do not mind a smaller selection of certain products that come super-sized, then BJs can be a good place. When the kids were younger, diapers were the best price here and even better with manufacture coupons(which BJs accepts ONTOPOF their own coupons)! Additionally, anything paper products or drinks have good prices(man they have gone up :() Produce is OK, but better sale prices can be found at the supermarket.

I had a boss in my past from this area, endearingly referred to as «Da Nort-east.» After three or four years in Philadelphia, I’d never ventured to these parts. Preparing for a big company picnic(thank goodness I’m self-employed today), I headed out to BJs to buy some burgers, buns, dogs, and all things honky-tonk. I not only learned that the Northeast looks like the town in Dazed & Confused(kinda cool), but I realized that for us urban dwellers, to drive to BJs cancels out whatever you think you’re saving. What a waste of time… unless you’ve got a family of 8, and Kimmy G. keeps coming over for dinner too.
