Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!! i never leave Unilocal reviews but my horrible experiences here forced me to speak out. I Brought my shirts to be dry cleaned here twice and have had a horrible experience each time. The first time I went here, they couldn’t find my shirt for over 20 minutes. They asked me to come back a couple hours later even though it was well beyond the suggested pick up time they gave me. The second time, I dropped off a shirt on a Wednesday for which I asked to have ready latest Saturday by noon(I recall the young lady saying«perfect» and that it would be ready 100%. I was part of a wedding party and needed this specific shirt to match the color scheme of the other groomsmen). I got there around 1 pm and again the shirt was nowhere to be found. Even after explaining to the lady their that I badly needed the shirt for the wedding, she asked me to come back Monday!!! Long story short the shirt wasn’t there and I rushed to Macy’s to buy the button up again. Got the shirt Monday, didn’t even give me a refund after explaining how badly they almost screwed me over. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

I’ve been here three times now and not only do they do a great job, but they are friendly and cheap! Will continue to be my go-to place.

The service at this Bristish Imperial Cleaners is very friendly and attentive. In addition to dry cleaning and laundry, I’ve also had them make alterations to a few items. All of which turned out well and I was happy with the work. The prices are also the lowest I’ve found in the city and the turn-around times are also reliable.

These guys have been my go-to for years, and only once — a cashmere sweater that a chalk line exploded onto — were they unable to return a piece in perfect condition. Mrs. Park has made me soup when I’m sick. She’s made fun of my stomach when I’m overweight. She has complimented my clothes and joked about stealing them. In short, the owners of British Imperial are the types of shop owners you want to know and be friendly with. I will always be loyal to them.

Service is quick and friendly. Prices are cheap. I’ve never had any sort of negative experience with them. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

If there is a less expensive and more friendly dry cleaner in the area I am unaware of them. I take things here on the regular to both have cleaned and repaired. Prices are always more than fair, service is quick and the people are lovely. Would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a new cleaner.

This is called British Imperial Cleaners, not to be confused with the one on 16th. They do a pretty decent job. At first I was a little apprehensive, but seeing people walk in and out of there all hours of the day gave me a little more confidence. We dropped off 14 articles of clothing(8 pairs of pants, 4 men’s shirts, and 2 blouses) on a Saturday afternoon. They promised it for Tuesday at 6pm. Cool. I’m used to same-day service, but this was fine. We came back at 6:15 on Tuesday, and the lady at the counter told me everything was ready except one piece. I thought it was a little weird; usually dry cleaning places are early. She was actually mistaken and had everything ready, so she put everything in plastic and handed it to us. I was scared of the total, but it was only $ 42! So far, everything looks good, nothing is out of the ordinary. My fiancé’s shirts were a little wrinkled when we pulled them out, but I usually touch-up iron them anyway. Bonus points since I live about 10 steps away. One star off because I’m still bent about not having same-day service, haha.
