Dr. Thomas and his staff are simply wonderful. I usually don’t get excited about going to the doctor’s office, but the atmosphere is so amazing that it’s a pleasure to come in.
Dr. Thomas installed my braces and within a month I noticed the change in the alignment of my teeth. Now, a year later, my teeth look so good that I find an excuse to smile. Haha

Loved Dr. Thomas and all of the ladies at Center City Ortho! Beautiful office, easy/​flexible to schedule appointments and I have great results! Dr Thomas is super thorough and answered all of my crazy questions and exceeded my expectations. Payment plan also made it easy to afford my treatment.

I’ve been an Invisalign patient of Dr. Thomas for almost year now. With his double board Ivy League trainings and professionalism, my teeth are responding beautifully.

A lot of people I know have had terrible experiences with orthodontics in general but Dr. Thomas and his team at Center City Orthodontics were nothing like those others you hear about. My braces came off within the original time frame that Dr. Thomas had estimated and all my appointments were on time! The team answered all my questions without hesitation and explained procedures in detail to me if I didn’t understand. His staff worked hard with me when my insurance was being difficult and they accommodated my busy schedule as much as they could. The before and after photos/​x-​rays that were taken were a great visual to see the improvement. I definitely recommend Dr. Thomas for anyone who needs braces in Philadelphia!

Dr. Thomas and the office staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating during my consultation. I’m sure they would be fabulous for straight forward, non complex cases. However, there were two fairly big gaffes during my visit:
–There was no discussion of surgery as a treatment option. I went on to see three more orthodontists and they all recommended jaw surgery to treat my overbite. Dr. Thomas just wanted to do cosmetic invisalign without treating the underlying issues. I’m fine with that being an option, but the possibility of surgery was never even discussed. I feel like my case wasn’t thoroughly examined if this was never even brought up.
–I was misquoted on the cost of services. They told me my insurance had a lifetime orthodontia benefit so in January I upped my dental insurance through work to take advantage of a larger lifetime benefit. It wasn’t until I went to my second consult with another orthodontist who said my insurance was only for adolescent orthodontia. When I asked Dr. Thomas’ office about this they just said it was an oversight on their part. Well, this oversight has cost me a lot of unexpected and unnecessary money!

We LOVE Center City Orthodontics! The orthodontist and staff ae always very nice and helpful. Phone communication is great, too! Highly recommend them.

Where was Dr. Thomas when I needed braces! This place is amazing. My daughter just got her braces a month ago. EVERY person who works at Center City Orthodontics is friendly and accommodating. They take customer service to a new level. They are patient and explain everything to both the patient and the parent. (Note: many of their patients are adults too.)
This is a very professional practice and the patient’s comfort and convenience always comes first.
I have an interesting perspective because my son is about to get his braces off from another center city practice (look for my Unilocal review when the braces are off) and it has not been a positive experience.
I cannot recommend Center City Orthodontics enough! They truly are as good as it gets.

I came across Dr. Thomas on Unilocal when I was looking for orthodontic treatment. He has a very good review on Unilocal so I think he must be a good doctor, and this is confirmed again and again from the day I started my treatment.
For the first few months, I didn’t really get used to my braces and still ate hard and sticky food that one of my braces popped off, I called the office and they immediately arranged me another appointment to fix it.
He is also very nice and patient in explaining me the procedure of my treatment, and from time to time, he shows me the photos of me before and after the treatment, and let me know how much I have changed. He has done an amazing job and all my teeth are well aligned now. It’s a shame that I am relocating to another city soon and couldn’t continue the rest of my treatment with Dr. Thomas, but during the past year, I am VERY satisfied with his work, and I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and his team!

We were here for a stay in Philadelphia while our son was at CHOP. Had an emergency with my son’s braces today on Friday, July 3^rd which is a HUGE weekend here in Philly, as you can imagine. To add to it they are not even normally open on Friday’s. Dr. Thomas came into his office that day and saw my son.
I cannot say enough about the service. It was only one time but if I lived at here, I would use him on all 4 of my kids!

Center City Orthodontics has been great experience. I remembered having traditional metal braces as an adolescent and was apprehensive to seek out an orthodontic treatment as an adult. Dr Thomas’s consultation was very easy to schedule and I left the office with a clear treatment plan. His office accepts insurance, and the staff came up with a payment plan during the initial consultation that was well within my budget.
The office is brand new, always spotless, and conveniently located. It is easy to see that he has really tried to put the patient experience first.
The staff are all wonderful. Heather, in particular, is very professional and personable.
After going to the office almost bi-​monthly for a little over a year, I can honestly say I have never had a negative experience at his office. Scheduling is always prompt and accurate, which means you don’t have to wait for your appointment. Dr Thomas was also very willing to collaborate with my other dental professionals, and made very helpful referrals.
It should also be mentioned that Dr Thomas’s office is involved in volunteering within both the local and global community. Towards the end of my treatment, he went abroad and volunteered at Operation Smile for a number of weeks. It has been quite refreshing to meet such a dedicated individual.

If you are looking for an orthodontist there is no one better than Dr. Thomas and his staff. I came into the office looking for a new splint/​nightguard because I grind at night. Dr. Thomas gave me a consultation where he then answered all of my questions. He was very thorough and patient and his front desk assisant Heather gave me inforamtion about all of my options. I never felt pressured to choose the more expensive option, but I appreciated that they were honest and upfront about what the costs would be.
Everyone in this office is extremely professional and friendly. From the moment I called the office to set up my initial appointment Heather was very personable and helpful. I visited the office about 4 times after my splint was made and each time Dr. Thomas adjusted it until it fit perfectly in my mouth. I really appreciated the attention to detail as well as the staffs caring and professional deameanor. This is a great office and I would refer them to anyone looking for an orthodontist

For years I’ve had issues with my teeth. Coming to center city orthodontic has change my like now I have a reason to smile again thanks to Dr Thomas. Great office I would refer them over and over

We are very lucky that Dr Thomas brought his practice east of Broad next to our favorite pediatric dentist!
My daughter is a very poor patient and the doctor, his nurse, and office manager have all been super supportive and helpful to her — and to me. Coming up on our 4^th visit, they have succeeded in easing her anxiety quite a bit.

As a teenager, I went through 3 years of orthodontics from a general dentist to correct my open bite. However, my teeth went back to how it originally was a couple of months after my braces came off. Then I entered graduate school, and I was desperate to correct my open bite. I met Dr. Thomas, and he was excellent in diagnosing that my actual problem was skeletal, and a different approach was needed. He explains things very easily and accurately, and made sure that I understood every step throughout my treatment. I have completed my ortho treatment in 06/​2013, and I have been immensely satisfied with the results. All my friends and family compliment my smile, and I even corrected my habit of covering my mouth while smiling. :)
In addition, the Center City Orthodontics office is excellent! Extremely clean and professional interior design just makes you feel good to be in the office. Very friendly staff and assistants!

Dr Thomas has worked on my wife’s teeth for a year and made her feel like a new woman. He takes the time to do things right, explains everything and makes you feel like a new person.
