Adequate Chinese Food – nothing special. RUBBERY wontons!!! Please fix them!!! They are like little rubber balls floating in broth!!! Make up smaller fresher batches!!! Watch how happy your customers will be!!!

So if you haven’t tried this place you are missing out. My favorite Chinese restaurant in the philly area. Sad that it moved from HV but have never had a disappointing meal. Portions are adequate but the food is tasty.

This place has been around for a while — but it was located in Huntington Valley on Huntington Pike before. This is my dad’s FAVORITEANDONLY chinese restaurant. He loves their hot mustard sauce, their singapore noodles(can get them spicier), wonton soup(broth is fine but I wish they filling had more flavor), sweet and sour chicken/chicken filet appetizers can be hit or miss depending on how much breading they have/how long they are fried, but the sauce on the side is very tasty and their duck sauce is very tasty. Mom loves their fantail shrimp and pizza rolls. Still not a fan of their Chinese pizza(China Wok’s was pretty good). Egg rolls still pretty fat and good. BF likes their meat on a stick. Their BBQ spare ribs appetizer are pretty good too. Oh and General Tso’s is good — the combination platter comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. We order here weekly… Service is always super friendly and delivery is quick. I’m glad they didn’t go away when they had to relocate. I’ve tried the other local Chinese spot — Hunan Wok, and although their dumplings are good and filling, the other main entrees don’t come close to China Bowl’s. I have celebrated many birthdays and other events here for about 20 years! Old link: Old review(Jan 2012): Okay Chinese food. Cool restaurant setting/vibe. Wonton soup kind of bland(wish they had more flavor/meat inside… very doughy). Egg Rolls are where they really win; they are huge and packed, at least 3 inches wide in diameter! However, not a fan of the sweet and sour chicken, it was like all breading and no chicken. Lo mein good. General Tsos was also a lot of breading. Chinese pizza kind of blah. My dads a fan of the Singapore noodles, which taste like a Thai/Indian dish.

Friendly staff, take out friendly fried rice is very good Just dined In and I am VERYVERYPLEASED they wait on you hand and foot very friendly waiter everyone speaks now on to the food. You get complimentary tea and the food taste VERYAUTHENTIC. I am weary of Chinese restaurants because I’ve been tricked into eating something that was not chicken but if you are afraid of this no worries here, they serve REALBEEFANDCHICKEN, I’ve had both :) This food is not like your corner chinese store it actually taste very authentic. The portions are GREAT I ordered a combo and got half plate fried rice, half plate beef & broccoli a HUGE egg roll and soup all for 10 bucks very very pleased with this place
