This is a review of the grotty little shoe-​shine place under the 15th Street entrance to Suburban Station. Why in gods name did I come here? They are one of the closest place where I can get KEYS made, now that Moos on 19 & Chestnut is gone and 10th Street Hardware is just too far to trudge in the snow.
Meanwhile an elderly (Korean?) Asian man and a pleasant asian gal (who mans the cash register) cuts the keys and shines the shoes. They also sell a bunch of junky looking hair accessories.
It really is creepy in there, but the cash register gal was very sweet (spoke little english) and the old man gladly made my keys for $ 2.19 a pop. God bless ‘em!
