Anthony is a genuine man that has been cutting hair since he was in middle school. Perfect military cut(fade). He was drafted during Vietnam and has experience with that type of cut. $ 20 for a great cut from an amazing man. Go out of your way to come here.

Been coming here for about a year now and it’s great. Kim’s my stylist and each haircut is basically a time to catch up with a friend… talk local happenings, Philly sports, the families… She does a great job with each cut, takes her time and is careful — everything has to be right before she lets you out of the chair. You can’t beat the price there either.

This place is a classic mens barbershop. Tony, the owner cut my hair. Great haircut, reasonably priced, and about as friendly as it gets. He’s the kind of guy you drop in and say hi to even when you don’t need a haircut. Only downside is they are closed on sundays and cash only. I’ll be a returning customer.

I’ve been a customer here for about 10 years. The staff is great; my stylist is Kim. She does a great job with my hair and beard. Very funny, friendly and interesting person. Big sports fan, too, if you like discussing sports with your barber. And the price is good, too — a haircut is $ 20. Located right on Market Street, up the street from Independence Hall. Definitely recommended.

The great thing about this place is the haircuts are less $ 20, which is hard to do in Center City. Anthony, the barber and owner, has been there for 30 years, and this is in a very historical building — right between President George Washington’s house and the house Thomas Jefferson wrote the declaration of Independence in. This is a very down-home place. I liked the haircut too.
