The love of books and art merges.

When a physical injury kept me from working in my other business I looked for something I could do that combined my restoration skills and my passion for books. I apprenticed with a book conservator eventually reaching and completing the advanced courses finalizing in medieval binding restorations and reproductions.

I spent several years just acquiring the tools and equipment used for book restorations. The restoration of a book or bible is one third technical knowledge, one third artistic skill, and one third love of the book itself.

I have a small studio in an old multiuse industrial building located at 13^th and Carpenter Streets in Philadelphia. You are always welcome to bring your book for a free evaluation and to see my level of workmanship.
