Everything here is actually a dollar! They also have a good selection of frozen food, snacks, cleaning stuff, etc. This is a great place to shop when you need to save some cash.

The dollar stores are a hit and miss… Sometimes they got stuff we want and need, sometimes they don’t. I like dollar stores. They are fun to shop in. This particular one isn’t bad. It gets the job done. I recently came in looking for bubble package to mail stuff but they didn’t have any.

Decent enough. Not too messy. Perfect place to get cheap holiday decorations, greeting cards, and picture frames. Not to mention candy. If they dont have what you are looking for, Five and Below is not far from there.

I always underestimate the dollar store! Found some frames to spruce up the house, gift bags, tissue paper, cleaning supplies, and holiday decorations. Theres candy and even other food items like coffee grinds and cake mix.

#290 When my parents visited me in Philly last year August, it was the first time I ventured to this Dollar Tree location and I fell in love! The place was massive and had everything you could possibly ever need. I must have spent a good hour and a half here, trolling every single aisle, looking for good deals for my classroom. And you can bet that I practically camped out at the teacher section, rifling through the piles and picking out my favorite borders, certificates, etc. Granted, the place is usually in a bit of a chaotic state, but with so much inventory and so few employees, it makes sense. Throughout the rest of the year, I always looked forward to my monthly Zipcar rental and subsequent Dollar Tree, Ikea, and Staples outings. =)

This dollar tree is large and expansive, and there is a lot of room to shop. It’s worth the extra bike ride from Center City to go here. They have much of the same items as the dollar tree on Chestnut, but has much bigger aisles and more selection. Also, Dollar Tree has a complete online website full of their merchandise, so you can check it and see if there’s anything of interest. That’s pretty cool. A great resource for teachers, with tons of arts and craft supplies. They have a weekly e-mail on their website, another perk, and announce the arrival of new items. Pretty cool for a dollar store!
