This is an awesome old school bar that’s connected to Max’s Steaks. If you’re over 21, you can bring your food from Max’s and eat it here. That is already a plus. The old school R&B music bar and the red neon lights really makes this place a great experience. If you’re ever in North Philly, I highly recommend stopping by for a beer or at least to enjoy Max’s Steaks cheese steak sandwich.

I really liked this Eagle Bar. Although I don’t really«fit in» and am not from the neighborhood, everyone seemed friendly and welcoming. Service was super-friendly. We stopped in next door to pick up some delicious cheesesteaks and ended up having a few drinks here which is connected. The drink prices were modest and the ambiance was upbeat and neon. Great place to watch the game with the bright flatscreens. Hope one day to return for more.
