I’ve been going to Excel Physical Therapy for about a month now and I’m starting to see real improvements. Adam and his staff are kind, professional and have been helping me get back to running after my nagging knee injury.
Excel has long hours and usually a lot of flexibility in scheduling which helps. The space is pretty open and there are a variety of benches, pieces of equipment and places to get your rehab on. What I like the most is the scientific explanation behind the exercises I’m doing. Having a background in science, I appreciate the talk of forces and the minor muscoskeletal lecture I get each visit. It’s helping me learn how I injured myself and how to avoid it.
I really like the place and while PT is never fun, Excel makes it actually somewhat enjoyable. I would highly recommend coming here for your rehabilitation.

Really helpful physical therapy! Felt better after a few sessions and continued to improve. My therapist, Adam was responsive to all of my questions and was incredibly helpful with maintaining good form. Previous PT I have had would send me off with my routine and offer little intervention during the session. Adam commented throughout which really made going into the office worthwhile.

I graduated today from my therapy! thanks Adam, who was professional, extremely knowledgeable and thorough and just plain nice. Whenever I had a question Adam would draw a picture of the muscles and the issues my injury caused and checked for my understanding. I feel so much better having seen Adam and the Excel crew. the facility is clean and friendly and I found free parking every time I went! I would highly recommend Adam, at Excel. Mischa

I was referred to Excel by a work colleague who has the same knee problem as I. I was very pleased with the outcome of my PT because Dr. Adam Kessel is really fantastic! He truly listens, tailors therapy to your needs, progress, and ability. I found the facility to be clean and well maintained, the staff to be helpful and accommodating, and the therapy to be effective and managable. I went to a different PT center a few years ago for the same problem, and now that I’ve been through a course of PT with Dr. Kessel, I can see why the previous PT was so ineffective and what a waste of time working with an inexperienced therapist was. If I ever have PT needs in the future, I absolutely, without hesitation, will return to Excel and Dr. Kessel.

I just had my first visit with Antonio. He was excellent at educating me about my injury and how all the nerves reattach. I left there with no questions. He was very thorough. The rest of the staff were very helpful in getting all the paperwork I needed to get started since my primary doc was really moving at a slow pace. They were very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely refer to this facility. Great job everyone!

Outstanding staff!!! I suffer from stress headaches and full out migraines. I have tried everything. I was told that ART therapy (it’s an acronym, not actual art) would alleviate some of my pain so I went there, as they were listed as having someone certified in that area. I have to walk from one side of Philly to the other to get there, and it’s worth it!!! Everyone is super nice, super knowledgable, and they go the extra mile. They are Absolutely amazing and I have heard nothing but compliments from other patients? as well. If I could give more stars I would!!!

I can’t say enough positive remarks about Excel. From the moment I walked in for my first appointment with Brandi, I felt like I was in the right hands. The staff was so friendly and always checking up on my progress and helped me keep a positive mental attitude toward my shin splint that caused a month long interruption into my marathon training. Brandi helped me SO much-​she answered my million and one questions I had, sent me home with easy to follow stretches and always made me laugh.
Today was my last visit and I’m sad about leaving! I’ve become so used to seeing these people they feel like friends, and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be back on my feet running again. I highly recommend them and especially Brandi, she’s so great!

I went to Excel because I was referred by Dr. Frankel at 3B’s. I had a knee injury and wanted to get back to to running. I was with Excel for a little over 2 months and have been running for months now. They are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I’d go back to them with any other injuries!
