Horrible Customer Service!!! If you want to patronize a business that appreciates you, this isn’t the one for you.

Great for picking up pizza so I wish I could give another star just for the food. I always recommend ordering a whole pie, you never know how long those slices have been sitting out. However, I’m not a big fan of the location itself(and I don’t mean where it’s located). Maybe it’s because it’s over lit, but it never looks like that«clean» location I’d like to walk into.

Yummy yummy yummy! For an area that has a decent amount of pizza places around, this place is awesome! Delicious pepperoni pizza by the slice or the whole pie. I recommend it to all. I was treated with respect and the service was quick.

I really hate ordering lunch working in the Fairmount area-but every once in a while I break and join the office why is it they always forget my lunch… then you call they say its going right out… and then 40 minutes later you call back and they ask if you want credit wth is wrong with customer service not when I called 40 minutes ago to tell you it was missing –it wasn’t a courtesy call –I am freaking hungry and when you respond it will go right out –almost an hour later I am still hungry… if your hungry I wouldn’t count on most Fairmount delivery locations –order early and be prepared… to be let down…

Really good buffalo and BBQ pizza !!! But I feel that they are overprice for the size of their pizza and you need to pay extra for a dressing(ranch, bleu cheese, etc)

They hv the best pizza slices. They’re a great size for the price and the service is pretty good. I also like their chicken & Caesar salads, breakfast & turkey burgers. This is my go to spot if I want something quick & good!

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service! I’ve purchased food from here before but it was usually via an online app. Today, I decided to stop in since I was driving by. I’ll never spend money here again. You don’t come in people’s neighborhood and treat them like ish… I don’t care what your preconceived notions are. I saw others being treated unfairly and I just happened to have nasty attitudes come my way after asking about a menu item. I’ll shout that from the roof tops! Plenty of other places to go that not supporting this business will be more than easy! Go some place else!

I’ve had countless meals from this place, and they have all been mind-blowing. I’m not talking about decent, cheap, corner store pizza. I mean mind-blowing. Not sure what they put in their food(probably crack), but it’s unusually good, very fresh, and always HUGE portions of it. I’d recommend the pizza of course, the gyro platter, the grilled salmon salad, and the chicken parm pasta(you could eat this for three whole meals with the amount of food in it).

While in Philly, we just had to try a cheesesteak. This was the closest place to where we were parked. The cheesesteak was huge and priced well, but there was hardly any cheese on it and the cheese was sliced cheese under the meat. I wasn’t too impressed. The pizza in the cases«by the slice» did look good though.

I have to admit I’ve only had pepperoni pizza here but I’m addicted. I don’t know what sets their pizza apart from other local pizza places but when you need a greasy piece of regular ol’ pie this is the place for me. I doubt I’ll try anything else because I will always want the pizza!

The best normal pizza around. This is not fancy pants Neapolitan or anything, but for just straight up neighborhood slice joint, this is the best around. They actually let their dough rise which is really all it takes these days to stand out.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s been mediocre. This last time was probably the worst. I ordered a panini with fries at 5:59. It took them until 6:25 to make it. That’s right. I waited almost a half an hour for a hot sandwich and fries. I watched one-by-one as people who ordered after me got their orders. The woman at the counter never made eye contact with me and seemed to not even care that I was the only one standing there after the crowd had disappeared. When I asked about my order, she barely looked at me or looked for my order and just said it wasn’t ready. Finally the cook in the back asked me what I ordered and it came about 5 minutes later. I guess this is par for the course for them, because I didn’t even get an apology for that long wait. To make matters worse, the panini wasn’t all that great and I cringed at even paying $ 9 for the meal when I could have grilled some chicken and thrown some cheese and gauc on it at home. The fries maybe made up for it, but nothing can make up for their poor customer service. I go to Philly Flaves a lot, but I think I’ll skip on Fairmount if I’m ever in the area again.

I live within a block of this restaurant and thank goodness because I LOVE them. I can get delicious pizza, really fresh, large salads, cheesesteaks, etc… even their pasta dishes are great. The fajita wrap is probably one of my guilty pleasures. One of my favorite pizza shops in the city! And it doesn’t hurt that it’s in a great location to where I end my days. Recommend!

Where to even begin with the enigma of Fairmount Pizza. We’ve been regular customers for over two years and the only thing consistent about this place is how inconsistent they are. They seem to take items off their menu on the regular. Sometimes they’ll still make what you want, but not always. Their breakfast is really good; I love the homefries with onions! I used to order their different french toast specials, but now I think they just have regular and Philly French toast left.(There used to be «Elvis» with peanut butter and bananas, a Nutella version, etc.) My boyfriend always orders the breakfast burrito but again, depending on who’s working, it may or may not be available — and one time we were told«oh, like the breakfast sandwich but on a tortilla?» Their pizza is pretty delicious(without being the best you’ve ever had) and you can order slices if you walk in. I recommend the broccoli, ricotta, tomato and the stuffed steak pizza. If you’re ordering the Greek pizza, sometimes it’s called the Greek pizza, other times the Mediterranean. If you order a stuffed steak pizza, expect to get tiny cups of marinara instead of a container substantial enough to last the whole pizza. We’ve begged many times for enough sauce, reiterating that we’d pay for it but depending on who’s working at the time we aren’t always accommodated. The strombolis are really great, particularly the Italian, the stuffed steak, and the chicken & broccoli. The wraps are also great, particularly the buffalo chicken and the fajita wrap. The coleslaw is good, the corn on the cob is gross, but the MEGAFRIESAREAMAZING. Get the Mega Fries. Broccoli bites are also good but maybe not worth the price. I can always make two meals of the salads — everyone I’ve tried has been delicious but of course, the most delicious one(teriyaki chicken) is no longer offered. The Greek, the antipasto, and any of the chicken salads are on point though. Overall, the food is decent but not the best ever. The customer service is mediocre. And every time I find a favorite menu item there’s a chance it will disappear forever. However, it’s conveniently located so they won’t be losing my business anytime soon; although the buy 10, get the 11th free deal at Pete’s Famous is pretty tempting.

I honestly believe that my family has personally played a huge role in the business of this establishment for the past twenty years, therefore I’m giving it five stars. Fairmount Pizza is just plain great. It definitely surpasses other local pizza joints in quality of food and menu options. Their bread is phenomenal, even their rolls and pressed-sandwiches. I don’t eat much red-meat, so I always opt for chicken or turkey and they’re both very good here. No gristles, no grease. Their turkey is homemade turkey, not that air-packaged, Oscar Meyer stuff that poses as lunch meat. I love their turkey and honey mustard panini. Their salads are enormous, with generous portions of high-quality feta and meats. Their breakfast is great, too. Made-to-order personal pizzas or large pizzas are always better than grabbing yourself a slice(in my opinion). Their crust is carb-worthy, the only establishment where I can’t give my crust to my dog because I’m too selfish. Sorry, Charlie. Their wings are surprisingly great, and so are their cheese-fries(mmhm, it’s that good Philly whiz!) and if you order them together, you’re having yourself a party. Thank you, Fairmount Pizza, for always being there for me when I needed you the most.

I like this restaurant because they don’t claim to be an authentic Italian pizza place while being very much an American-style pizza place. Nothing irks me more when I’m looking for a place to grab a quick slice. Grabbing a quick slice is an American concept, anyway. Rant aside, the food here is solid and consistent. I like the ricotta/broccoli/tomato. Prices are appropriate and the tables have always been clean when I’ve been here. Service is friendly. I can’t give 5 stars because the pizza doesn’t blow my mind, but it is good.

Stopped by here since it was close. Only got cheese fries and they were great! I really don’t think you can go wrong anywhere in Philly but hey, if I’m dropping a review for a business, I’m doing it off of what was serviced. Would come back if I were in town again.

We love this pizza. Tonight we had the Hawaiian pizza and a chicken cheesesteak Stromboli. The dough is delicious. Eat it.

I wish I could give it 3.5 stars… they don’t deserve the 4(Becase of the bread), but a 3 is just too low. We ordered to go. Which I will say, their togo ordering online is not only easy, but super cool! It comes with a minute to minute information on where your food is. I have never had anything like it! We knew when the pizza was done, when the car left… its genius! The bread that came with the salad was gross… it was basically stale raw bread. The salad was good and fresh, not your typical«Hosue salad». We got the margareita pizza which was awesome. The crust was my favorite, as well as the sauce. It tasted homemade, and the crust was thick, bubbly and crisp. MMmmmMMM.

Between 3 and 4 *s but for the first trip, I’ll go with a 4. Being new to the Fairmount area last year, I knew I had to try other pizza joints besides Pizzeria Vetri. So venturing a bit north by ESP, I stumbled upon Fairmount Pizza & Grill. During the lunch rush, it was extremely busy, which means the offerings a pretty fresh and the pizza isn’t going to be sitting out for days. Plain Slice($ 2.17) Had to try the standard, which had good flavor that was reminiscent of proper NY takeaway pizza. The crust was nicely buttery, but was almost too chewy. The cheese to sauce ratio was nice though. Buffalo Chicken Slice($ 3.19) The buffalo chicken slice was pretty good — great flavor and tender chunks of chicken. There was a bit of slight heat on the tip of the tongue from the hot sauce as well and the cheese sauce was creamy. Special Calzone($ 9.50) Red sauce, mozzarella, steak, pepperoni, mushrooms. meatball I also ordered the special calzone which came with a mix of plenty of meats, including sliced steak, pepperoni, and meatballs, along with some mushrooms and onions. There was a decent amount of cheese and sauce mixed in to create a satisfying bite. So if you’re looking for a cheap slice on the go or need a pie for the game, I would definitely check Fairmount Pizza out. We can’t have artisanal pizza every day right?
